Which thread was that FF? Fess up?!

I promise I will not tip my balding head into the sun, and bend it such, that it blinds you at your pc and damages your pupils!

PB I have been waiting for you to take one more stab at the roter rooter question when you get the time. Before I post the answer, you just may get it right!

Im off to do my evening cardio pretty quick.

Geesh, Doc, I am glad to see you joined us (LOL). took all day (i know why, but still...... :eek2: )

Thoughts for today (listen up Doc :) )

1. Within each of us lies the power of our consent to health and sickness, to riches and poverty, to freedom and to slavery. It is we who control these, and not another.

Remember that DOC, you have the POWER dude.

Richard Bach (Illusions)

2. Never look down on anybody unless you're helping him up.
Jesse Jackson

Right on! Thats what its about!

3. The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
George Bernard Shaw

4. People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
Elizabeth Kubler Ross

Thats RIGHT! In US is the light to achive!

5. Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.
Henry Ford

In each of us is the light of the road. We must adapt and overcome, we must maintain "reasonable unreasonableness" to prevent seeing obstacles created by us.

I sincerely hope everyone had a great and fantastic day! And all of your dreams and goals were met today.

Chillen

Dude-- you have amazing energy for an old fart!

All excellent points though. Now you and FF need to work on the grammer and spelling, heh heh! :yelrotflmao:

there is so much presentation in this world with not spirit. get over the spelling and grammar and listen to the music,,, there is spirit!!!

it's kinda like a body that looks great but can;t perform... yuck!

or in my case a body that can perform but coudl loook better...

oh geex, now that i've gone and talkd thru it,.,, spelling and grammar may be a good thang...

oh shoot.... again,, typed too long..

A roter rooter is a tool that rotates out into the toilet bowl (like a snake), and goes into the neck portion, and as you twist and turn it (if a manual one and not mechanical), it extends into the throat of the toilet, and will dislodge anything choking the crap out of it, and let the toilet flush, so it the toilet can be used again later and filled back up by some dude HOPEFULLY on a diet.

Oh, no, FF is going to get me for explaining this one........Protein Boy, there ya go.

Anytime you dont know, just ask. Its all good!

I have been on a zig zag diet (2s and 5d), and I have to make adjustments. For a week now (and weighing at the same times and same cloths, Im dropping weight, Im down to 152 average now, and only flex to 154 during the day hydrated. No dietary changes other than increasing complex carbs and maintaining protein at 1.3 per lbs of body weight (a slight increase). Dang body is to efficient for its own good.

Now apply the motivational portion to diet and exercise with what you know about the roter rooter and what----"its intended purpose is".

I know your about 16yoa, I sorry if you never look at a roter rooter the same:rolleyes:

ok.

things i know about the motivational part of diet and exercise:
-need to have a positive outlook
-need to have some goals to fulfill so there is a desire to succeed
-the mind can control the body's ability to perform and motivate. poor mindset=little motivation=little success
-have to believe in yourself to achieve great things
-motivation helps you exercise better and diet right, and exercise and diet can give you motivation

a roter rooter:
-tool that rotates out into the toilet bowl to dislodge anything clogging it
-purifies the pipes of impurities
-helps things run smoothly
-its like a snake?lol

uhh...
so diet and exercise can be 'our' roter rooter to help get all the crap out of our system.

physically AND mentally because exercising also makes us feel better mentally because we feel accomplished and fit. it helps us clear out our minds anything bothering us and not letting us do our job on a daily basis.
good diet and exercise also can eliminate clogs in the arteries...as a roter rooter eliminates clogs in a toilet's pipes?

June 20th,2007 Thought to start our day

Hello Everyone: Whats up, its time to chill into:

"Getting Things Done"
Each of us holds within ourselves a vision of what our lives could be and should be: an assortment of big dreams, big plans and big ideas that fire us up from head to toe. These larger than life aspirations excite us and inspire us, filling us with hope, expectation and optimism.

"Doubt whom you will, but never yourself."
Christian N. Bovee
=================================================
"Going all the Way"
Like it or not, there are always going to be those who seemingly work overtime trying to bring you down and tear you apart. But so what? Who really cares about what they have to say? These folks are going nowhere and want to take you along for the ride.

Whenever and wherever people criticize and slam you for doing what you want to do, DO IT ANYWAY. And when people constantly deride your abilities and tell you that you cant do it, show then what you're all about by DOING IT ANYWAY.

Rather than allowing others the opportunity to unduly influence the direction you take in life, why not choose to follow your heart instead? Deep down within you hold the most powerful force in the universe, the God-given potential to make a difference.

"If you ever get a second chance in life for something, you've got to go all the way."
Lance Armstrong
======================================================

"You have everything you need"

You have everything you need and will ever need to make your life all that it can be and more. It's there; right where it's always has been, deep down in your heart and soul. You need to tune out the doomsday crowd and turn on the powerful potential within thats waiting to be unleashed and see where it can take you.

Little dreams and even smaller plans are not what you are all about. No, youre about more, much more. Big dreams, big plans, big ideas implemented in a BIG time way - now that's what you were put on earth to accomplish.

Are you finally ready to make your life the super special, action-packed adventure ride it deserves to be? You bet you are! All you need to do is to start doing what you need to do, when you need to do it. And do it with everything you've got.

The Bottom Line: Why just make a living when you can make a difference instead
=========================================================

"Step by Step"

"Great results cannot be achieved at once; and we must be satisfied to advance in life as we walk, step by step."
Samuel Smiles
=========================================================

Let's face it, there are no two people on earth that are exact carbon copy replicas. In fact, to say that each of us are distinctively different may be the biggest understatement of all time. We have our own likes and dislikes, our own strengths and weaknesses. We have different personalities and dispositions, responding to people and situations in our own unique way. So regardless of what the commercial folks tell us, no one size fits all.

Chances are good that all the commercials and advertisements in the world will never uncover your personal pathway to success. The only system that works for you is, well... the system that works for you. As a matter of fact, how you define success and how every other person defines success will never be one and the same. NEVER! The ONLY way to truly discover your pathway to success is to get out there and find out for yourself.

"When we have done our best, we should wait the results in peace."
John Lubbock
========================================================

"Take out the Trash!"
"Life is a mess most of the time."
Charles Caleb Colton

Our lives can sure get cluttered with an assortment of stuff. Good stuff, bad stuff, all sorts of stuff. In fact, way too many people have allowed way too much of the negative stuff to accumulate over the years. Each and every one of us carry around some garbage that we would like to get rid of once and for all.

You know how the story goes. We pick up a little here and pick up a little more over there and before we know it, we have quite a mess on our hands. This unsightly accumulation of worthless stuff, although harmless in appearance, lends itself to a life of disarray and disorder.

"It's not the tragedies that kill us, it's the messes."
Dorothy Parker

Winners refuse to allow anyone or anything hold them back, yet this mess does exactly that and more. No doubt about it, we have to get rid of this mess. But in order to get rid of something, we must first determine what it is that we need to get rid of. It is time for you and me to come clean and confess to the mess.

If something is holding you back, it is time for you either fix it or get rid of it. If someone is preventing you from living life to the fullest, then you must change the relationship immediately. If something is upsetting you, this something must be repaired, replaced or discarded right away. If something is impeding your progress, you need to change direction and find a way to go around, over or through it. OK, so if you are willing to confess to the mess, what's your next move?

"Success is relative. It is what we can make of the mess we have made of things."
T. S. Eliot

Once you have owned up to the stark reality that there are some things in your life that need to change, you should focus your efforts on changing them right now. Not sooner or later or whenever you get around to it. No, these changes are needed and they are needed right now. You need to clearly spell out in meticulous detail all of the garbage that you want to get rid of once and for all. That's right, you need to include everything that needs to go.

If something holds you back, it has to go. If something prevents you from doing your best, you need to pitch it in the garbage. You need to make certain that any self doubts or self defeating thoughts are thrown in the trash pile too. Anything and everything that negatively affects your life in any manner whatsoever has got to go - and go right now.

Once you have assembled all of this negative garbage into one big junk pile, it's time to take out the trash. That's right! Get rid of it - all of it. Throw it away. Flush it, burn it, toss it, chunk it, discard it - but one way or another get rid of it all. Can you imagine all of the things you can do and the fun you can have when you have completely eliminated all of this rubbish from your life for good?

"Although we have a mess of problems, we have great capacity, intellect and resources to do some thing about them."
Henry Ford

This exercise of taking out the trash can be accomplished by periodically painting a sensory rich picture in your mind. You start by bringing this negative trash pile into full view in your mind. You should see and feel all of the pain this mess has caused you. You should think about all of the good things in life this worthless heap of negative conditioning has cost you. Now picture yourself throwing all of that negative garbage out for good! Let your mind and body feel the lifting of this unwanted burden once and for all. By mentally purging yourself of all of these negative influences, you completely free yourself to enjoy life at its very best.

This stress releasing exercise will leave you feeling refreshed, refocused and most importantly, fully re-energized. Your mind, at last unburdened by all of this negative clutter, is for the first time afforded the chance to see countless opportunities where obstacles once stood. You are now able to take off the blinders and see the real you, a you who feels absolutely fabulous and looks forward to an unlimited future.

You will discover that practicing these mental gymnastics is tremendously uplifting and rewarding and can be replayed whenever and wherever you need them. Any time you feel yourself slipping or falling off track, just take a few minutes and take out the trash.

The Bottom Line: Don't just sit there, take out the trash!
