I just saw that Mal started a July weight loss challenge. Do we join up with that one or start our own? I'm thinking we join that one and make it a point to add our own (ahem) style to it. What do you guys think?

June 1: 194.5
June 9: 193.1 (1.4 pounds lost so far)
June 16: 191.8 (1.3 pounds gone!)
June 23: 193.1 (1.3 pounds back!!) - mostly muscle (holds thumbs)
June 30: 191.9 (2.2 pounds lost, yay!)
 
Monday weigh in and the end of the month

June 1 214
June 2: 222 (false high)
June 9: 210.8
June 16: 213
June 23 : 208.2
June 30: 206.0

Total for June: 8

Not as good as I wanted, but I'll take it. I'm now 11 pounds from my goal. I really can not believe it. :hurray: July will be fun, though. I'm going to step it up a bit, though. My sister is getting married in less then 4 weeks so I want to be as close to goal as I can. Certainly in one-derland.
 
June 1: 192.5 (27.8%)
June 9: 188.4 (26.5%)
June 16: 186.6 (26.0%)
June 23: 185.7 (25.3%)
June 30: 184.2 (25.0%)

Lost: 8.3 (2.8%)

This is okay. I would like to have done better but my diet went a bit funny for a bit and that couldn't have been a good thing. Next month's goal is 1%/week.

So for the month I'm down 8.3lbs, 1lb of which was muscle lost. Now that I'm on a regular strength training routine that will help prevent as much muscle loss as possible.

All in all not a bad month.

Congrats to Anke and Trops as well!

This inching down one pound a week is really getting on my nerves. I know it's slow and healthy and blah blah, but now I am only 39 days away from the big day and I want results damn it! Maybe it will all catch up to me when I least expect it to. Here's hoping! :D

Angela, I know that you aren't happy, but you are really doing well. Slow and consistent is what will win the long term battle. Remember, this is not about the big day, but the rest of your life. Your day will be great, but what comes after will be better.

With all the ups and downs you've had this month, plus vacation, plus two hell weeks at work, and you still pull of a half pound loss. You are running now, and it's summer, so extra temptations. Don't put yourself down for what you see as limited success. :cheers2: July is going to kick ass.

At least it wasn't a gain.
 
So now you kick July's ass so June sees that it can't get away with it.
