Weight-Loss The Brat Pack June Weight Loss Challenge

Weight-Loss
3.6 loss in a week is a valid weight.

I've been killing myself to try to make up for last weekend's partying, and I'm finally there. Now I have to keep at it for the rest of the month so that I can call a net loss.

Ok. I believe you - I was calling it fake I guess b/c my gym attendance was spotty b/c I have been working so much but there is nothing to say it isn't possible :)

I'm glad you were able to get back, seems like we have all had weekends like that lately, you know?

The problem is I wish I could say it was worth it. I didn't even go that wild. What's going to happen when I do. Look out!

I don't know it is ever worth it except when you are in that moment. It's life, you know? Gotta live it.

My shy? Hee hee hee. Ali? Angela? Would you two consider me shy? :D

Matt, sweetie, you are about as shy as I am . . . :p

182.2

It looks like I got rid of some of my upswing and since it is that TOM I am guessing that the actual number is somewhat lower than this.

I am hoping to maintain for the week and come out the same :)

I'll be here guys, just not as much, don't miss me too much...

182.2 is great. Hope you have a plan to at least maintain during vaca. Now that you're going in the right direction you don't want to lose momentum. (Yeah, yeah, you already know this. I know.)

Of course we'll miss you. I promise to be inconsolable for at least twenty minutes every day. Thirty if we don't hear from you regularly. :D

I have decided that I will allow myself a little bit of the foods I like, there are really only two or three things that I have to have...

Shrivers gelatto - get a small size and I should be ok
Ikes crabcakes - it's a seafood place so as long as I decide smartly I should be good
Mack n Mancos Pizza - so good, I'll have a slice
Fudge Kitchen Fudge - I may get a box at the end but during I will limit myself to the free itsy bitsy samples they give out.

Other than that I should be ok making reasonable decisions and trying to exercise to balance it out...

Oh I'll be in at least once a day, I promise :D

Gelatto, not that bad for you, and since they come in such small servings it's usually self enforced portion control Much better then scooping out of a half gallon box

Crabcakes, I make the best crabcakes I've ever had. (biased, I'm sure) Fried, but in olive oil.

Pizza, my weakness. My diary will have last nights problem with pizza when I get around to it.

Fudge, so rich and good that those itsy bitsy samples can actually satisfy a craving.

Have a blast

I have no clue as to why, but yesterday I didn't eat so healthy, I didn't work out, and I drank last night. Now this morning I'm down a pound from yesterday. No complaints, just curious.

hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I am back from my weekend of moving out of my apartment.

I ate like crap, but moved a lot of heavy stuff up and down stairs. Drank a tiny bit, not too much.

Only tomorrow will tell what happened weight wise. Knowing my trend it will be a nice little gain. But back to the grind tomorrow to try to wipe out this weight.

It took FOREVER to catch up with this thread by the way...

Hehe, I'm still not caught up... I GAVE UP!

Just come in here every day, try read the last 3 or 4 posting (if they even make sense!) and put in my 2 cents...

So, who else in this thread does running as regular exercise? I stared really slow the last 2 weeks, and I feel like I'm getting somewhere... This week I'll step it up a bit!

Have a good one all!

Only just joined the forum . . .

so am somewhat late for this one, but what the heck! If I have to wait for the next challenge then I'll never get going!

Ankebuzz - I hate running SO much (and I live in a valley with mountains all around so the only way is up!), that I bought a cheap little fitness trampoline which is supposed to have all the benefits of jogging without the going up!

June 1: 177.8lbs
June 9: 175.0lbs

Total Loss for June: -2.8lbs

-2.8lbs

My challenge is to see a loss EVERYWEEK, instead constant fluctuations. It's a great start tho!

Down 3.2 pounds for the month so far

Damn, I kicked some ass this week to make up for the ill gotten gains of the beginning of the month. If I ca keep it going through this week I'll be doing well.

Hope everyone is down.

I ran until my leg began to hurt. I am taking this week off and then I hope to get back into it.
Starting slow is good, real good. be careful how much you step it up though. You increase the risk of injury if you go to fast/far to soon.
It is what happened to me and it is taking a solid month until I think I ca nrun again.
I miss it, I really do.

6/1- 225
6/9- 222

Down 3 lbs- most i have lost in a long time. I need to get on my game again since I ate like crap yesterday.
No big deal just too much and the worng stuff overall. I will be working my ass off this week to try to post another loss.

Hey! Well done to all of you and your losses! I'm aiming to get all my exercise done this week, like I did last week. Makes me less grumpy :)

Ill buy that. Exercise every day reduces my stress level. Makes Brian a happier guy.
