Oh I get enough sat fats in the almonds and trail mix i eat so don't you worry about that mister :)

Verdict

The verdict is...

Kangaroo is awesome!

It's really good on it's own, but I put the dill sauce on anyway. I don't think it would barbecue up very nicely, but marinated and cooked in a pan it is really so good. Well, I know what I'm having for lunch the next three days.

:drool5:

How does the saying go? You are an enigma wrapped inside a conundrum?

One of the most facinating people I've met in a while, that's for sure :)

You know, I saw a bunch of things in there that I have to try. I'll have to go back there again. Llama and rattlesnake are the two that jump to the front. I think that I've tried everything else. Although I can't remember what elk tastes like, I know I've eaten it.

Where's "there" Trops??

. . . and people have thought I'm odd for having squirrel and eggs for breakfast as a child . . .

So that's why you were offended by my plan of eating asparagus. Notice that I cut it out, just so you wouldn't be offended.

You're Welcome

That really is not the reason I think you are odd Angela....:D

But that does intrigue me. Where did you grow up and where did you get squirrel?

Thank you, Tropsie, dear. I can always count on you to do the right thing.

Lol, I actually went home and made asparagus with dinner last night. Steamed with lemon pepper seasoning. And I thought of you . . . :D

Oh, so I'm just odd in general? Whew! That's a relief.

Well, with the exception of my residing in Florida for three years when I was little, I grew up in Small Town, USA. We had a 150 acre farm out in the county and actually did the whole farming thing - cattle, pigs, tobacco, horses, hay, produce, etc. I could drive a tractor well before I could drive a car. Squirrels, among other things, were plentiful as you can imagine. :)

Interesting. I am a born and raised city boy. I just moved where I am at 3 years ago so I have no real idea of farm life and things like that. The grocery store did not sell squirrel meat.
Never farmed, hunted, fished or any of that in my life.
interesting- I would not have guessed that about you- do not know why not exactly, but never would have.
:D
