ive been in Lexington, spent 5 weeks straight there a few years ago, Lexington is no Chicago.
That is a good thing, trust me. Most people keep to themselves in Chicago- no one wants to get involved or cause trouble.
I actually love Kentucky- well western anyway- that is one of 2 area I would move to if given the chance.
I'm in central, which is not that bad. Lots of horse farms around here. I've been told the landscape is similar to Erin's Isle. Works for me. *sigh* My own little piece of Ireland.
I bitch about the weather, etc, all the time but really, if I left I'd miss it.
