Sorry I couldn't post yesterday :) But I came home from my holidays!!! And I am so pleased with myself because I weighed in at 170!! Meaning I lost 0.4lbs over my holidays! I know it doesn't seem like that much, but for me that is a real improvement... last summer I put on 13lbs so I must've done something right this time round!! I feel on top of the world right now <3 But now I'm gonna crack down, and I would like to lose some serious weight for the final two weeks... 2 to 4lbs is what I am aiming for. I go back to work on monday the 6th so it will be good to get back into the schedule of things.

I've found this week's mini-challenge easier than I thought it would be, I just put in an avacado or two into my salads at lunch *thanks for the link yummimummi!!* I hope everyone is okay? Still no ideas for the mini challenge...

Does the mini challenge have to actually be part of a diet of fitness regime? How about feeling positive about ourselves and the changes we are making? Each member has to log in each day to their team and write a short but positive thing about themselves physicaly, 'I am more and more pleased with the shape of my legs', ' I am beautiful', 'when I get a body to match my brains I will kick some ass!' Just a suggestion. It will encourage people to log in each day, to stay motivated and maybe learn a little about their team mates?
 
That actually sounds like a really great idea yummimummi!! I think it would help everyone to bond and it will start to increase our self confidence :)
 
Saw you guys talking about the mini challenge....the fiber challenge was LAST weeks mini challenge....we're taking this week off :)
 
HAVING A HORRID WEEK!
I really am struggling to keep the chocolate away! Eating bar after bar. I know I should stop but I just pigged out! Been running or for my walk every day but just finding the food tough this week! Anyone else had weeks like this? I feel like I gained 20lbs! Having to stay away from the scales because I know if its up I will be worse! I feel like I am battling alone, is this normal diet blues?
 
I'm going through the exact same thing right now. I know I shouldn't eat the ice cream that's in my freezer.. but I just have to have it :( The weird thing is that I'm losing 1lb per day. I have no idea what is going on. I've lost 4lbs since sunday?! I haven't even been exercising, I'm finishing off some essays at home ready for when college and work start back up on the 6th.. But all the time I just feel hungry, although I've found that sucking on a sugar free lollipop kinda helps :)

Hey guys!!! One week left in the challenge!!! How are you all holding up???

This weeks mini challenge is going to be different. While its not weight loss related, I thought it would be awesome to end the challenge on a high note. Lets "pay it forward" Do something really nice for someone! It doesn't have to be grand. Everyday you do somethign really nice (out of the normal for you) you get one point :D You could even post what the nice thing is if you want??


Just wanted to add this....I will ONLY accept any updates needed to your charts...NO LATER than TUESDAY the 14th!!!! Come noon on tuesday... I"m gonna double check for any updates and then the challenge is closed.

Now, this is for anyone who might have forgotten...or who can only update on computers at work...this is NOT for people to give themselves an extra day or two to get as much weight off as possible. Lets be honest :D

YAY! Thanks everyone! I have enjoyed massive weight loss these 6 weeks! I have a huge advantage that I am at the start of my battle and also that I don't work so I had loads of time to get those exercise points in! The prize for me is the new shape I am discovering under layers of fat and wobble! I really enjoyed this challenge and plan on doing the 'body for life' challenge next. Hope you guys will join me! Laura
