Everyone else: sorry, I'm being kinda useless this week :( Might not even get any points this week, probably may even lose some due to weight gain. This just seems to be the week where lots of things have caught up to me at once and I'm mentally and physically exhausted, so I'm giving myself a break. I'm going to need help getting remotivated starting next week though, so don't let me give up!

Thanks for letting me join in! You are all doing so well. Its great that we are such a diverse group. Now I have the urge to head out and get some extra exercise points in there! I only started this journey recently, I am having so much fun now and excited to see what shape my body really is!

MAR - how are you doing? Are you getting back on track? Its hard to take a break then get back too it I am sure. Although I bet even a break involves more exercise and better food choices than you old lifestyle. I know mine do! Good luck with your motivation!

I found this , it might be quite handy for this weeks challenge. 25g is a massive amount though, I know its not going to be the easiest challenge for me! Good luck everyone. BTW where is everyone? Laura

Alright, I think i'm ready to get back on track! Got all my stuff ready to hit the gym after work. Last week was abyssmal for the challenge, but I didn't really gain any weight, so thats good. Its going to be a little bit of a challenge to get back into my routine, but I needed the break. Sorry for not getting any points this week. I was doing a lot of work around the house, but nothing I could break down into exercise points.

I'm not sure if I can get any challenge points this week. I don't know how to count my fiber. For example, tonight my wife and I are making stuffed zucchini, and we usually throw in a bunch of veggies and spinach and stuff into the stuffing part. Without weighing everything, how am I supposed to know how much fiber is in it? I suppose I could just take 25g of metamucil every day?

What do you guys think about a challenge for next week, as we get to pick? We don't talk much in here, so if anyone has any good ideas, feel free to speak up. I'm going to think about it over the next couple days.
 
I don't have any ideas for next week's challenge yet, but I'll be thinking about it as well. I don't know if I'm going to do the fiber challenge or not. I think tomorrow I will start counting my fiber intake and see if I'm anywhere close to 25g. That seems like a lot.
 
For the challenge how about something to get our bodies moving? Add one new thing to your exercise routine each day or something along thsoe lines? I may be wrong but I think all of the other mini challenges have been about putting stuff in our bodies. Perhaps we can do something that involves moving them? Just an idea anyway! Hope all well with everyone. How did we all do this week?
 
Bikinibound, the fiber one is easy if you just add bran to a multi vitamin drink every day. I managed 25g yesterday without giving it any thought at all. We need your points!!! (of course its pretty gross to drink but so are protien shakes and people on here glug those down too!!) ;)

The 25g of fiber a day may help us lose weight but also not a good idea when you have a week of conference meetings!!!!! There are only so many times you can blame a squeaky chair!!!!!

Don't worry. I've realized that I already eat a lot of fiber in my regular diet so I think this will be easy. I already eat high-fiber bread and just found my weight watcher's ice cream bar has 5g of fiber! In an ice cream bar! That's amazing to me. Oh, and it's only 1 point. So I will add up fiber intake later and if I come up short I will eat a fiber one bar. Those things have like 9g of fiber!

Mmmmm WW ice cream bar definately sounds more tasty than yucky bran and fruit juice!!! Unfortunately I live in the back of beyond Switzerland and we don't get such things. I might get creative in the kitchen this weekend and see if I can invent a home made protien and fiber bar. I need something quick and easy with all these kids around!
Made it into the 230's!! Very happy. Thats 19lbs lost already! Whoop whoop!
 
Hmmm?? Not sure about next weeks challenge (... not allowed to take any lifts, have to take the stairs lol :p!!!) Sorry I haven't updated in aaageeesss but I'm still on holiday and at this point I just want to go home and start losing weight again. I really have no idea what I weigh and I've become so obsessed with what I look like. Some days I think I see a bigger hip in the mirror and assume I've put on weight, but then I'll be shown a picture of me from the night before, and my double chin will have disappeared ?!! I'm actually going mad and without a scale is killing me. Its hard to calorie count when you're eating out for three meals a day every day but I have made sure that I'm doing an hour of exercise per day, whether that's going swimming or walking the dog along the beach.

Anyways, last week I got 11 points for doing 11 hours of exercise (I've been eating too many fries some days) and obviously I don't know what I weigh... but I'm weighing myself as soon as I get home because I really am losing my mind... hows everyone else doing??!?

Ok, here's my mega post with all the info I kept from holidays!!! It's been a weird couple of weeks because eating has been bad but virtually every evening we walked into town rather than catching the 20 mins bus ride, then all around town until my daughter fell asleep in her pushchair then around the evening bazaars then back out of town to the hotel complex again...plus at least half an hour to an hour of swimming each day as all I was doing was lying by the pool and then swimming alternatively....

August 01: 188.4 (yeah..gone up too many vending machine dinners whilst working too hard! Find it too demotivating to increase my ticker...)

Hi guys. I am so thrilled right now. After only losing a pound or less every week, I was ready to call August a flop. I was disappointed, but I refused to give up, knowing that slow weightloss is better than none at all. I am so surpised that this week I have lost 3.2 lbs! :willy_nilly: I am almost into the 170s, and when I get there that will be the least I've weighed for a little over two years. I am so psyched! :hurray:

So has anyone thought of anything for the weekly challenge? I really haven't thought of anything.
