Whoooooooosh....

I dropped almost a pound over night. Now down two pounds since 8/1 and we still have a couple days left! On another note, I skipped an exercise day this week...I just had other things going on, and somehow it didn't happen. I exercise 4 times a week, so this week I will only have three days. I might do some extra cardio to try and make up a little bit for the missed day.

I also just want to say to our team members on vacation....you guys are awesome!! I have an upcoming vacation at the end of September planned and I am seriously worried about derailing my progress. But I am considering staying at a hotel with a gym. It will cost a little more, but it's worth it. I have never exercised while on vacation before...it certainly will be different.
 
An hour of weight lifting yesterday and down another pound this morning. Thats 3.4lbs down the last 3 days :p. Finally dumping water weight :)
 
HI GUYS!!! Congrats on your 1st full week of this competition!!!...Tommorrow is the 1st day of the 2nd week....Its our 1st weigh in day AND its the start of mini challenges!!!

This week (starting tomorrow) our mini challenge will be to drink half your weight in ounces of water. So if you weigh 200lbs, you'll drink 100 oz. of water! One point for every day you stuck with this challenge!!!

Hey guys, just check?ng ?n from Turkey (w?th a very we?rd keybopard so I'm go?ng to g?ve up correct?ng the typ?ng m?stakes ?n a m?nutwe and just touch type l?ke I normally do at home!!

F?rst of all, ?ts hot... I mean really really hot - l?ke 55 degrees here so any th?ng I do ?s l?ke mov?ng ?n a sauna - that's got to count for someth?ng r?ght?? hehe I've been walk?ng for at least an hour a day, sw?mm?ng ?n the pool w?th my daughter, us?ng the hotel sta?rs rather than the elevator to the 2nd floor and I just went to the gym (OMG no a?rcond?t?on?ng ?n that spec?f?c room!!) and ran 2.5 km ?n 20 m?ns - I would normally clock up 5-9km ?n a run over an hour or more but I just could not do ?t ?n the heat. I was sweat?ng buckets.

There ?s actually a set of scales ?n my hotel apartement but I stepped on yesterday and they are at least 14lbs out!!! I know th?s for sure because there ?s no way I am a stone heav?er just from an a?rplane fl?ght that I d?dn't even have a meal on!! So I am not we?gh?ng myself unt?l I get back home ?n 2 weeks t?me - ?ts too demot?vat?ng even ?f I know ?t ?s wrong compared to my beaut?fully accurate and new scales back home.

So no ?dea where I am do?ng on the weekly po?nts for the team I am afra?d but I thought I'd stop by, tell you all I'm do?ng my best and cheer everyone on. W?ll have no probs meet?ng the m?n?-challenge th?s week :)

I got 14.4pts for the week. 3.4 pts of weight loss and 11 pts of exercising. I'm working on the mini challenge for today, but its going to be damn tough. Right now, I'm at 56oz out of 175oz I need to get to... thats a lot of damn water. In other words, I need to average at least 12oz per hour between now and when I'll be going to bed... I'll probably get it done today, but idk if I can keep it up all week.

I have 3.5pts total. So 7pts for exercise, but -3.5pts for weight loss since I gained 3.5lbs. I've been bad this week, haven't exercised that much, and I went out for drinks with friends yesterday. I'll figure it out, and try to get to my goal weight by the end of the challenge!

So today starts by me drinking 73oz of water.

I got 8 points this week for doing exercise... can't weigh myself as I'm on holiday but I think I'm doing ok!
 
Well, I drank 187oz. of water yesterday. Yikes, thats a lot of water. That is 1.4 gallons, 11 pints, or 5.3 Liters.... yeah, thats like, 5.3kg of water, or 11 2/3 lbs. Thats right, I drank nearly 12lbs of water!

So far today, I'm at 40oz of water. Don't know if I can continue to drink so much. My body obviously doesn't need to be drinking that much in a day. I have to pee like every time I drink some, and I had to get up twice last night. I'll do my best though.

My exercise this week will probably only be my 3 hrs of weight lifting. Maybe 1hr of DDR on thursday. How many points can I count for walking around Cedar Point all day next saturday (if I can walk by then...)? I got some work to do around the house this week that needs to be finished before friday. Also, my feet are still bothering me. It hurts to walk in my shoes. Maybe I need new shoes. I can't tell if what I have are deep blisters on my feet, or if something else is wrong.
 
Hey guys! Sorry I didn't get to check in yesterday. I have to take back my whoooosh. It wooshed the other way, unfortunately. So I only dropped 1.2 pounds for the week. And I only got in 3 hrs of exercise this week. Actually I got 3 hrs, 15 minutes, but I guess we're only doing 30 minutes as the smallest increment? Also, I did exercise yesterday (weigh-in day), that counts for the coming week, right? Sorry guys I didn't get in more points, but I will definitely try harder for this week. The water challenge sounds interesting. I won't get it today because I just found out about it, but I will try starting tomorrow. I definitely need to be drinking more.
 
Well, I outdid myself again. Yesterday, I drank 205oz of water. Got my hr of lifting in as well. Won't get my 3 hrs of golf in tonight though because I've got some work to do at home this evening. Should be able to drink another 200oz of water today though. Still trying to work out how many exercise points I should get for walking around an amusement park for maybe as long as 10 hrs this coming saturday. Any ideas? Weight has been moving in the right direction for a while now. I think this water challenge has helped regulate my body's water retention, as in I don't retain any excess anymore. All in all, I'm doing pretty good this week.
 
So it's just about 8 PM here and I just took my last sip of water to meet the daily requirement! Yay! For me, it's 92 oz a day, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. And I got in an extra hour of exercise helping my husband clear wood out of the shed we are building in our yard. So 2 1/2 hrs of exercise today! Hope everyone is doing well!
 
Kep up the good work BikiniBound2011! I wish I only had 94oz of water to drink a day. I've found drinking lots of water or makes me feel like I need to drink even more and more each day to stay hydrated. Last 2 days I've drank over 200oz.

My exercise has been light this week, because I've been spending all my free time working on a project at home that needs to be finished tonight. I've been getting the bare minimum of weight lifting though, and I'll figure something out for points for all the walking I'll do this saturday at Cedar Point.

Its starting to look like I'm falling behind on my weight loss goal. I don't know if its because I need to take a close look again at what i've been eating, or if its because I haven't been exercising as much the last couple weeks, but either way its looking like my weight loss is slowing down. If I can figure out whats going on, I should be able to increase my weight loss and gradually start getting back towards my goal.

All in all, I'm still in good spirits though. I don't feel like giving up or that my hard work is in vain. I don't feel like I'm on a restricted diet, I feel as if I can keep eating this way the rest of my life whether or not I lose any more weight, so I don't feel at risk of falling back to bad eating habits. And, I am still seeing strength increases in the gym, so thats motivation to continue getting stronger. So, nothing to feel panicked about, at least not yet.

Hope everyone else is having a good week, and enjoying vacations. I'm jealous!
 
Congrats to everyone for the water challenge! Keep it up!! =D

This water challenge is actually getting kind of fun :) I have to get up 3 times in the night to pee, but otherwise fun :p Seriously though, last night I went int bed at 10:30, watched a movie for an hour or so then got up to pee. Woke up in the middle of the night sometime to go pee, and then had to get out of bed 45minutes early in the morning to get up and pee again. But I like how my weight doesn't fluctuate as much when I'm drinking a ton of water.
 
I have internet again!!! Wow... so much to read in since I got off my cruise :) I still won't be able to come home until the 28th but for now I have internet access. I guess I feel kind of the same weight.. I'm not sure. The statistic the cruise line gives you is that the average cruiser puts on 1lb per day! I can see why; as all the meals are five courses (even breakfast) and none of it is healthy. I tried to order fruit and veg as much as I could and I went swimming for one hour every day. I've been keeping up with the water mini-challenge and so far I've done it all except 1 day :) keep up the good work
 
Tomorrow is the end of week 2!!! How are we all doing???? I hope we're having some fun and losing weight too!!!

The water mini challenge is over tonight and if you didn't make your goal, don't sweat it!! That was one tough challenge!!! This weeks mini challenge is this....SQUATS!!! 10 minutes of squats a day! Now, this is going to be based on your own knowledge of your body. For me, doing squats is gonna be hard, so I"m going to do two 5 minutes sessions. Also, if squats are something your used to...add weights...mix it up! This mini challenge is brought to you by TEAM CREPUSCULO!!

Team Eclipse, you can choose next weeks mini challenge!!! Let me know by next saturday what you chose.

Updated my first post. Was a busy weekend so I couldn't post. Not off to the greatest start to this week. My weight loss for the weigh in was artificial because I didn't eat much on saturday nor did I drink enough water, and I spend all day walking around Cedar Point. On Sunday, after eating and drinking normally, the weight jumped back up nearly 4 lbs lol. I don't expect many weight loss points this week.

I skipped the gym on monday because I was still sore from the weekend. 10 hours on your feet takes a toll. My entire body ached. I'm probably skipping my golf league tonight to work on some stuff at home. So, I'll probably only get 2 exercise points this week - tomorrow and friday at the gym. I do squats as part of my weight lifting routine. I do them either once or twice a week. This week, I'll only do them once (on friday). So, looks like only 1 mini challenge point for me this week. So, apologies in advance if this is sort of a slow week for me.
 
Are you guys short a team member? I read on the original 6 week challenge thread that you might be. I have pretty much been doing the challenge on my own anyway but it would be fun to do so with a team.
