Guys, seeing as I had very little chance to exersize (or eat properly) this weekend I decided to make it up to myself (and you guys) by hitting the gym earlier and I did...

45 Minutes on the Treadmill (8.5 Speed, 6.5km, 600+ calories)
4 sets of Situps (25 each)
5 sets of weights (20 each)

I normally do 15 minutes on the treadmill and my total workout is usually 30 minutes so I outdid myself today to show my dedication to you guys!!!

I am so happy right now!!!
 
Oh, and I did weigh in again at 182.5, which means I lost another half pound! I first weighed in at 188..so thats like 5.5 pounds...I feel SOOO great!

I'm trying to prepare myself for the fact that my weights going to slow down real fast here soon. So I don't get discouraged when i dont' loose as much. I think I was just eating SO bad for a while that to get on track is doing me wonders...that and I'm drinking a TON of water,which i've never done before.
 
Newbride, thats how i feel, I know my weight is going to slow down soon, but it sounds like you are doing great!! keep it up!! i am not weighing yet!

and RF18 sounds like u are doing great as well!!

keep it up ladies!!
 
Did my weigh in today as well... As good as I did during the week I totally futzed it up over the weekend (ice cream on saturday, chinese food on sunday, and almost no exercise all week). Put ON a pound and a half! I really got to get my act together this week :mad:

yes you will be fine, just stick with it!!

It happends to the best of us Beagle, we aren't even half way through yet, you still have lots of time!
 
its a week from this thurs.

Today is another good day for the diet/excersize! Everyday that I stick to it, I gain more confidence :)

confidence is always good!! I had a good day too, stayed on track with food, and had a great workout (cardio and weights).

so I will be raising it up a notch from now on, i want results, i want them bad!!

my current mini goal is to get under 200 by feb 6 (my 21st bday) and i know i can do it!!
 
hey girls!!

wow we have a dynamite team going on - i'm posting every day and i feel like the slacker because i'm only posting once!!! :) not that i'm complaining, because reading everything that you guys write makes me energized and ready to keep the pace up!

the weekend was awash in terms of food, just because i ate out so much for all of the celebrating - however it wasn't in terms of exercise! went to the gym with my family while i was at home, and went tonight with the boyfriend. yes, i actually got him to go. he was trying to back out of it at first saying that his stomach was bothering him, but i called him on it and told him to try eating something lite and we'd wait until later so he could make sure he felt ok.

it worked! the lousy bum was just trying to get out of it ;) (i should note that he did feel fine before we went, and i didn't force him along when he was actually sick!!) i got a FANTASTIC workout - best i've had in a while! did the treadmill for 230 calories, worked on my arms and did the abs! feeling great, and i'm just trying to figure out what my snack will be tonight. i'm thinking maybe some dried mangoes or i'll cut up an asian pear. we'll see.

food for today:

breakfast - kashi go lean crunch with 1% milk (it's all they had left in the store. . . .usually i buy skim)
lunch - salad from saladworks with lite ranch dressing and pasta with wheat roll
snack - kashi granola bar
wheat thins
dinner - veggie stir fry with tofu, mushrooms and napa cabbage

and now i'm just trying to figure out an evening snack. tomorrow should be great too, as i have leftover veggie stir fry and i'm going out to eat at my favorite chinese food place which cooks with fresh veggies and they make my absolute favorite veggie . . . uh. . . . .stir fry. so tomorrow is going to be filled with veggie stir fry :eek: but that's fine by me. . . .i love it!!!!

anyway that's all from me - our team is so awesome! i'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning as i forgot to today. i'm afraid to see, as it's right before my TOM and i always weigh more around this time. :p ugh.
 
This week is off to a good start. Stayed under 1300 calories, and I've got one of my two 20 minute work outs done (planning on the other in a couple hours, just before bed).

I'd like to see if maybe I can cut my calories down to 1000 a day, just for this week to give myself a little kick in the bottom and make up for the past one. I was going to get another snack tonight but managed to pull myself out of the kitchen before I did any damage (it was close though, I had the ice cream box in my hands and was pulling the bowl out of the cupboard!) :) Its all about the small decisions, I think. Now if only I can avoid slipping up.
 
good job beagle staying out of the ice cream!! its hard, i know, especially when the food is in your house. my bf has lots of junk here, but i stay away from it.

I am like you right now, i am trying to keep my cal's low this week to get me under 200 lbs......hope it works!

WOOT!! yup we gotta keep up the great work! I am off to see my personal trainer...she will whip me into shape!!
