hey girls!!
wow we have a dynamite team going on - i'm posting every day and i feel like the slacker because i'm only posting once!!!
not that i'm complaining, because reading everything that you guys write makes me energized and ready to keep the pace up!
the weekend was awash in terms of food, just because i ate out so much for all of the celebrating - however it wasn't in terms of exercise! went to the gym with my family while i was at home, and went tonight with the
boyfriend. yes, i actually got him to go. he was trying to back out of it at first saying that his stomach was bothering him, but i called him on it and told him to try eating something lite and we'd wait until later so he could make sure he felt ok.
it worked! the lousy bum was just trying to get out of it
(i should note that he did feel fine before we went, and i didn't force him along when he was actually sick!!) i got a FANTASTIC workout - best i've had in a while! did the treadmill for 230 calories, worked on my arms and did the abs! feeling great, and i'm just trying to figure out what my snack will be tonight. i'm thinking maybe some dried mangoes or i'll cut up an asian pear. we'll see.
food for today:
breakfast - kashi go lean crunch with 1% milk (it's all they had left in the store. . . .usually i buy skim)
lunch - salad from saladworks with lite ranch dressing and pasta with wheat roll
snack - kashi granola bar
wheat thins
dinner - veggie stir fry with tofu, mushrooms and napa cabbage
and now i'm just trying to figure out an evening snack. tomorrow should be great too, as i have leftover veggie stir fry and i'm going out to eat at my favorite chinese food place which cooks with fresh veggies and they make my absolute favorite veggie . . . uh. . . . .stir fry. so tomorrow is going to be filled with veggie stir fry
but that's fine by me. . . .i love it!!!!
anyway that's all from me - our team is so awesome! i'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning as i forgot to today. i'm afraid to see, as it's right before my TOM and i always weigh more around this time.
