Awwwww, Raiders....my little pet favorite team. That was my favorite name that I came up with last challenge but it didn't make the cut. I'm so glad you guys are using it and I know it's going to take you to the winner's circle....ummmm...wait a minute......never mind...you know what I mean. Good luck to you!!!!!

Hello Team. I hope everyone had a great first day. I did not do so bad. I've been working out for the past 10 days straight so I've felt really tired today. I was going to skip my workout but decided to at least get on the treadmill for 40 minutes. I felt much better after that.

I hope I do not binge this weekend and stay focus on the challenge.

Hey everyone! checking in here! had cereal for breakfast, pb&j sandwich for lunch, and a small serving of spaghetti for dinner.(yum!:)) I'm going running again with a friend, then I'm going to do probably about 150 crunches, and some leg work, and some pushups. Keep mo everyone!
 
You guys are going to be fricken proud of me. I went out to dinner and a movie and still stayed within my 1200 to 1500 calorie range!!!!!!!!!!!

At dinner, I had a baked chicken fettuccini Alfredo. 1/2 a peice of garlic toast, a baby ceasar salad and a drink drink with lots of ice. It was a huge plate so I ended up only having 7 ir 8 forkfulls and packed the rest to come home. I had almost 1100 calories left for the day and I'm sure I didn't go over that amount at the restaraunt.

At the drive in movie, I only had a diet drink and no snacks. I was still very full from supper. I can only remember one other time I never had popcorn and pop at a movie so that was a HUGE accomplishment for me!!!

I am so going to kick some flabby butt this challange. I cheated on my weigh day and weighed today and I'm already loosing the bloat and water...down 2 lbs! I am supper pumped.

Hello everyone!!! ^^Great job with dinner and your movie!! I know, it feels weird not to walk up to the concession stand and get snacks but just think of all the money you saved--probably $15 bucks. :p

I'm doing well. I think I'm going to go ticker happy and keep track of my sit-ups and miles walked this week--I think that'll keep me motivated.

Im just checking in and for me weekends suck for dieting, I never stay on track, its really the only time I eat out. So Im not eating as healthy as I should, but I didnt go over my maximum daily intake of callories. Ive done my running (HIT 20 min) everyday, so thats something to be proud of. By the way, congrats Miss_Kallie for doing so well when eating out.
 
Miss_Kallie~ That is great. Not having all that junk food at the movies.

I did not do so bad this weekend. I did weights yesterday and decided to take off today. I’ve been working out for the past 12 days with no day off, so I was feeling tired. I will get back on it tomorrow.

I hope everyone else had a great healthy weekend.

Well I did OK today accept for a few potato chips, but I know my weigh-in weight was a big aberation so I'm expecting that I can really help us all out this week.
 
I am happy to say that I was able to control myself alllll weekend... this has never happened before... i'm rather shocked at myself! :D Keep it up everyone!

I'm glad to see you did well over the weekend Xorie.

Cannon ~ I am starting to believe that we need to be able to incorporate these types of things in our lives but in a healthy way. Having a serving of potatoe chips once in a while won't hurt too bad as long as it isn't everyday or a whole bag right? It's about finding balance to me. I hate having to try and be one extreme or the other and I think it's impossible to keep it up.

My thing right now is trying to find healthy alternatives and keep servings in check.
 
i of course didn't control myself today..I had a bit of cake...not alot though, I was able to control myself a little!! But I am still doing great exercise wise, and I am back on track! Its that time of the month, so i am bloated!!! But by next week I would have urinated alot of water weight off..haha.

Anyway, just checking in.

I have a general question... how many carbs should a person consume in a day? what foods other than 'white stuff' have carbs in them? I'm clueless.
