Hey all!! Looks like this team is absolutely rockin'. Sorry I have been MIA but we were camping the past 3 days and I had no computer access. We had a good time - probably had a few too many glasses of wine but overall make some good health decisions on food (best as possible when you are a camp ground guest & there isnt much around). I did drink lots of water. I am starting this week of right. I really want to break this D&*MN plateau!!!!!!!! So, I woke up at 5am (I am NOT a morning person) and ran 4 miles this morning. I feel good so far. Now, its water and healthy food and a good jump start to chaning things up (i usually work out after work).

Anyways, just wanted to say that I am excited to be part of this group - you guys are inspiring dropping lbs like nobody's business!! whoo- hoo!!!!

Hopeuflly I can contribute something! :eek:

DRINK THE WATER! MOVE THE BODY!! FUEL WITH HEALTHY FOODS!! :p
 
Skyler: Getting up at 5am and running 4 miles! That is fantastic.

Jenny: Down again! You are bound and determined! I have a feeling you are going to be in onderland before you know it!

Bettyjane: We can do. It's hard to be well behaved on the weekend sometimes.
 
Skyler that is fantastic! Remember - some forms of motivation comes from habit - get in the habit and you will be SO motivated to run every morning! You'll be looking forward to it even!

i used to do it alot(getting up and running) and I LOVED starting my day like that...so, maybe it is coming back around and will go back to older (but GOOD habits) :)

i've been slacking off lol, i might be up :S
ah well, must wait till friday to see, guess its time I get to a lower-cal eating strategy and some good ol' cardio
 
got up this morning at 5.15am again! whoo!! it was already 90 degrees and figured my dogs would KILL me so we are housesitting and there is a treadmill in the basement. did that for almost 30 min. incorporating HIIT and later tonigth planning on doing weights. i really hope i break this plateau soon. :(
calories came in a little low at 1400 but i just wasnt hungry any more...

shooting for 1500 cals today and truly doing that weight trianing later...and LOTS of aqua!!

Hi guys! Just checking in - I was gone for training in Chicago, where I ate pretty well, but the drinking deserves a big old slap on the wrist. It looks like everyone is doing great! I am back on track today, no worries! :)

Where about are you from?

I'm eating some popcorn right now - but I'm doing pretty well! Only lost .2 of a lb yesterday - but all is good.
 
Hi Everyone!

Did we decided on a mid-challenge check? Should we weigh in tomorrow?

I lost .4 of a lb - I wanted to be down to 208 this week, but if I'm in the 209's - I'll be happy. That means I've lost a total of 10 lbs so far.

So how's everyone else doing? Feelign pretty good?
 
Jenny I think having you on the team with your constant loss is pushing me to stay on track. I must admit I started the challenge with a super mindset then my cousin came in from out of town a week early and things started to go down hill from there. Uggggggggg

So anyway I stepped on the scale today and it looks like I've gone up 2lbs.

Nemisis: Looks like we need to kick it up a notch.

I haven't done any exercise since last friday, almost a week. When you miss a day it so easily turns into two then three and now almost 7days sans exercise! Not good.

But I am going to exercise this afternoon and try to get out for a walk as well.

I also haven't been drinking my water. What is with me?

Ok new day today!

I will have a loss by next friday!
 
OK Jennifuffa - GET ON IT! go for a walk - breath - get moving - drink WATER!!!!!!!!!!! You can lose........I KNOW IT!!
 
Thanks Skyler. I actually got off my butt and went for an hour walk and still no snacking at night!

Are we weighing in tomorrow?

i weighed in an ZIPPO Loss. FRUSTRATED. ran on treadmill for 30 minutes. want to kill somebody. :(

Hey Skyler! Ok so maybe you didn't lose but you didn't gain either. I on the other hand gained 2 :eek:

Hi group: In case you didn't get a chance to read my journal today I will be away for the weekend but I will be back on Tuesday. In the mean time eat well and exercise! LOL I snould take my own advice. I will as well!
 
Hi all! :D Just poppin' in ta let y'all know I'm still alive! :p:D LOL headin' back to the campsite now :) weighed in @ 175.6 this morning (Lord, I HOPE this is NOT a joke!! LOL ) - had to weigh myself twice to be sure :rolleyes: so thats a 2.2 loss for the week. It certainly helps when there aren't any munchies around to git into :eek:

SKyler, I agree w/ Kaitie - keep it up. the work WILL pay off! DON'T give up!

Hope y'all are doing well! I will pop in next week to make it to journals and see just what you've been up to whilst I was away! ;)

I've heard that killing someone does burn a bunch of calories... but then you've got that whole messy trial thing to go thru, and while you probably wouldn't get convicted - provided it was an all woman jury, there's a chance that you could go to jail andthat'd really mess up your weight loss goals.. Jail food I've heard isn't tasty not is it all that healthy...

Just something to keep in mind. :D

Hang in there, Skyler, you didn't lose, but you didn't gain.. Maintaining is a good thing sometimes... Hang in there... you will get to your goal...
