I did the 30 day shred video today, I can see that I have found a way to get my strength and cardio into my day, despite the snow settling in! I'm going to stick at it for the 30 days which will take some motivation but since I seem to only be gaining weight at the moment I get the feeling I need a food overhaul too! The tough part of my journey is only just starting I think!

I hope you guys are doing ok. Its a really tough time of year to be battling this isn't it? Keep going though, we have to beat those Montagues and perhaps a few demons along the way!

Tally so far: Capulet has a loss tally of 24.7lbs
Montague has a loss tally of 22.7lbs

The competition is close and the teams are well matched. Although perhaps Jericho and I should stop feeding cakes and beers to our opposing teams and get back on track!!!! Hmmmmmmmmm maybe just a few donuts???

Well, we are half way through this diet week. Hows everyone doing?
Does shop till you drop count as exercise? HA! HA! I just did most of my Christmas shopping. I drive to the city and go to as many places as I can before sundown. I was tired yesterday so I didn't do any other exercise. Today I did more shopping but when I got home went for a good long power walk.
I just don't feel like I'm losing anymore weight. maybe it was the frozen yogurt I had at Costco yesterday....and a few little snacks. I had the yogurt in place of lunch then ate a lighter than usual dinner.
Next weeks going to be hard. I have to make fudge, cookies and pies. I will be giving it ALL away but it is the taste testing I'm worried about! I didn't really even want to make the stuff but my grandkids and brothers asked me to. ( I do make such good stuff )
Anyway I'm not going to make all those goodies until Tues. I'll try real hard not to let too much sampling go on.

Only 1/2 lb I guess thats better than gaining. Today I'll be making fudge. I just have to stay out of it. I do have to taste it to make sure it tastes good and sets up right! I'm making peanut butter and chocolate. Tomorrow I'll be making 2 kinds of cookies and pumpkin pie. Oh the temptations!

Started the body for life last week i like it but might step up the cardio back to 6 days a week... ill give it one more week using his layout..
 
so only 3 of us weighing in huh? C'mon team........the montagues lost over 7lbs last week. we are currently trailing.
I am back to my start weight having gained a a mysterious 8lbs during the week..........turned out there was a gummi bear stuck under my scales, dang kinds!!!

Um gonna bump my cardio back to 6 days a week this week i guess i remember plateauing around this weight about 5years ago...
 
I'm hoping for a good weigh-in Wednesday - I had a great weekend for the first time in a long time!
Yummi - I tried Level 1 of 30 day shred and it was pretty intense - a great full body workout when you only have 20 minutes! hope you keep it up!
Primevci - a loss is a loss!! Great work this week!
How did everyone else make out over the weekend? Back to post weigh-in Wednesday!

yeah i kinda pigged out on pie the last 4 days lol not saying that was the cause but didn't get to workout much last week either... only real thing im worried about is ill be going back to work real soon and i feel i might be to tired to workout "that's what happened about 5 years ago"... but if i can juggle 40+hr work week 2 nights of school and going to the gym my fat should just melt off "i work construction".. thanks for the kind words CG

I had a great time with my family. Ate more than I should have on Thanksgiving. Went out with one of my brothers on Fri and overate. Sat went to The Grove with my brothers and we ate at the cheese factory and I just had to have some cheese cake. Today it's back to eating healthy and I'll be taking longer walks this week to make it up.

lol got called out to work today i start Monday been laid off for 2 months so this is nice right before xmas.... ill keep on it just got to figure out my schedule..
 
Where's the rest of our team? We seam to have lost more Capulet members. Only 4 of us reporting! Did everyone go on vacation? Don't forget we have until Feb. 14th to do this.
 
Sorry for my lack of attendance on these threads. We were hit by flooding and lost all power and water for nearly 2 weeks. we lived of take away and pop so you can imagine that the damage is not just to my house! 10lbs in 2 weeks so back on track today! You all seem to have done ok over thanksgiving! Will do the tally so far in the next day or two so lets see this weeks numbers guys and girls!!!!!!!!
 
Sorry to hear that yummimummi. If you don't mind waiting till WEdnesday afternoon I will have had my weigh-in by then and hopefully be down for the team.
