Stuck to my new eating habits.. and worked twice as hard at the gym trying new cardio and pushing myself on weights, finally broke my platue

My dieting is coming along good. Thanksgiving is going to be my biggest challenge. I just have to not overeat. I am planning to have a little bit of everything. I also plan to send most of the leftovers home with family. That way I won't be tempted to keep eating stuff like pie, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing.
How's your dieting going?

Hey! Its doing ok. Its kinda hard to say no when my gf wants pizza so bad and shes paying. But yeah I agree on your thanksgiving issue. Hopefully we will be strong and overcome overeating...

Ok so I had my first weigh-in with Weight Watchers on Wednesday and my starting weight is 159. The program I signed up for lasts for 20 weeks so I hope to do extra good from here on out!! I'm sorry my stats won't count for the first weigh-in but I promise to come back every Wed. to update.

Hi everyone,
I've been working outside, trimming trees and getting the yard ready so I could start putting up Christmas lights. I usually start doing this on Oct 1 but I wasn't sure if I was going to do it this year. My neighbors said he kids really love them so I decided to do it. I'll have to work long hrs out there if I want to be able to turn them on Thanksgiving. I have a lot of lights and stuff.
I've been climbing up and down in the trees, sawing off branches then hauling them to the back.
I still did my walking and exercises. Still sticking to my diet!

Haven't been able to update. Schedule and pc issues.

About me, I did competitions here on and off for a few years and had great fun. I get vary competetive with myself. I stopped taking focus off my exercise about a year ago and have only been sporadic periods of exercise since. I feel crummy and want to at least get back to feeling like myself.

I'm 40.
I'm a nurse and work fulltime.
I live in iowa and we have snowflakes falling.
I have 5 children. My 10, 12, & 20 years olds are at home. My 19 y/o twins are not.
I started dating my neighbor June 09 (he lives right across the street) and in Aug we decided to get married, planning that for Sept 2011.
And 140.0# is my initial goal because at that weight I feel wonderful, but not enough to accept it as final.
 
Hi everyone, its that time of the week again!!
I gained 3lbs, my husband whisked me off for a romantic break in Italy and i ate bread, pasta etc. Back on track this week, promise I will make it up! Sorry guys!

Sometimes it seems like the going is soooo slow for all the effort I put in. Maybe it's time to increase the weights on my workout. I think I'll also go back to keeping a log of everything I eat. It just seems like I should lose more than 1 1/2 lbs for all the working outside that I did.

surprised by this but i figure next week ill be at a normal 3lbs i haven't really changed anything but coming off a platue its been dropping fast..

Im starting body for life so ill see how that goes... :)
 
Great work everyone!! I'm finally getting in a grove and the scale has started to go down, can't wait to for it to keep moving!
