I work in a showroom for bathroom design & sales...for BALLERSSSSS .....LMAO!!!

...we do contemporary remodeling/vanities ...mainly...MODERN....and yes, traditional things too...you know like the "SALAD BOWL" looking bathrooms!!! LOL!!!

And I have my desk here, where I meet with clients and talk about all their little remodeling headaches.....where it seems like I'm more of a THERAPIST than anything...LOL! .....And since I have extra time here when it's slow, I do also do "Foreclosure Broker Price opinions" for banks from the computer here....

...you know...when people lose their homes and the bank takes it....I tell the bank....well, since these properties around the neighborhood cost this much and sold for this much, I think you should price it for this much...and BLAH BLAH BLAH!!! hahah

...but yup....LIL OL ME....solo train!!.....but I got SOULLLL TRAIN IN ME...so it doesn't matter one bit, and actually lets me pick people's brain for a long time that let me...!!! :smilielol5:

A bit worried about the upcoming weekend - it is ALWAYS when i let things slide a bit...determind not to but i know what i am like :angelsad2:Tomorrow will be a bit of a test - I'm weighing in first thing in the morning so if that doesnt show any sign of loss then i might cry after all the effort i have made this week....even a pound would be better than nothing! I need to hit 232lbs to be on target :svengo::svengo: worried much....lol

Also, it's cake day at work, so I will be avoiding the staff room at break! Usually a friday night would see me and my friends very drunk and dancing til the wee small hours, then some takeaway and NO exercise at all.....welcome the new improved allie! The plan for tomorrow is no booze at all, avoid the damn cakes and make sure i do my 2 miles + dancemat for 1hr + some yoga :Angel_anim: I know i can do that!!

But hell I AM def still going dancing!!:party: Cant have a friday without a club or two and im sure dancing like a maniac will burn even more cals - whooo yay!!!!!!!!

AMAZING! Have you ever seen people who have the "treadmill-desk"??? It is SO COOL. You can have a treadmill, connected to a raised desk, so people can do their work and workout. It was on CNN at the gym a few weeks ago and I was thinking GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!! Although, could you imagine writing something and falling flat on your face? haha

tinkerbella..just take it one minute at a time for the weekend and try to keep yourself busy with other things you can do it sistah......make a game plan and stick too it...and burn up the dance floor!!

I guess dancing for many hours HAS kept me from gaining a lot of weight over the holidays (there's been a lot to do!) but I think that running again (I USED to be a runner, like, 2 months ago! :smash:) is going to help me LOSE. So instead of going to the Stunna in SF to see some awesome DJ sets tomorrow, I'm going to bed early to try and RUN before my Saturday job :) I HOPE!

Well ladies and gent (Trops), I am presently chugging a protein shake (170 cals) then I will have a light dinner before heading off to the gym for an ASS KICKING WORKOUT. Chica Chica Yeah!!!
 
Paula has one of those treadmill desks. I think that she just made it herself by attaching a high shelf over her treadmill.

Tink, I know you can do it. The thing is that we're all there with you. No drinks, right? I'm not having a single drink all weekend, eventhough my sister told me that she just picked up two bottles of Balvine. :drool5: Hey, dancing counts as cardio in my book.

Karen, sorry, that guy is a pussy. He can't handle the whoop ass Squad #1. :smash:
 
Hilarious. Better stick to the plan, that sargeant has me scared!

I did much better with the eating today after yesterday's "refeeed", but was still able to enjoy some yummy food. I had 1500 calories in total comprised of controlled portions of Indian food for dinner (chicken tikka masala w/ a little naan bread) and Mexican for lunch (rice, beans, grilled chicken, guacemole, pico de gallo, salad w/ no dressing). It all worked out since I just had a slimfast low carb shake for breakfast. I swear, I would do a free commercial for those protein shakes!

I must admit I'm a bit worried about tomorrow's calories. I rarely go out and I'll be going out for drinks and dinner, sans H who will be home with the baby -- snicker. I think I'll stick to white wine so I can at least count the calories. A casual male acquaintance that's kept in contact with me for about 8 years had emailed me to wish me a happy new year (I have a bunch of men and exes that all keep in touch like that over the years, quite flattering haha). We hung out when I was single but I was totally not interested and still am not LOL. Even though he's really good looking and a successful wall street firm owner. So after I finally replied to his new year's message he rang my office talking about how he stopped partying and dating more than one woman at a time LOL. He asked if I'm still married lol. I figured I would try to hook him up with my friend who I'm supposed to be going to happy hour with. He was already dying to treat to drinks and an expensive dinner, but he really got on board when I described my friend (she's a doctor and a size 2 to boot). Anyway, I will keep the challenge in mind so as my team can get its max points!

I'm really late to this. I apologize!

My name is Jes :) I'm a 20 year-old girl. I'm a third year at a great university in San Diego, CA. I started this journey in September of last year. Holy crap, I can't believe it's been that long?! I feel like I JUST started this. Anyway, I LOVELOVELOVE the gym and usually spend 3-4 hours in there daily. I started out to do this to change my lifestyle and to be healthier. First it was about losing weight. I still want to do but I realized there are some other things I want to achieve. Now I feel like I'm training for a marathon. One of my resolutions is to keep training and I really DO want to do a marathon. I'm not sure WHAT but I have this year to prepare and hopefully in 2010 I will be able to participate in one :) I am SUPER excited!

Hmm...lets see. I updated my points on the spreadsheet. I promise I will check in daily for this competition and I won't let anyone down

BTW - I do A BUNCH of different things in the gym so I just split it into cardio and strength + minutes on the spreadsheet. To see more details, just stop by my diary
