I can't even believe the conversation I'm having with my H right now... he wants to have take out for dinner tonight... he also wants me to drink tonight... if i do both I will be way over my 1800 calories... he's trying to say "oh come on, you can have a cheat day" and i'm trying to explain that yeah cheat days are all well and good as an exuse to use with him, except i have this challenge and cheat day means I lose my team at least 60 points which isnt acceptable any way you try to look at it...

Its Valentines Day sweety...no one is gonna think any less if you choose to enjoy yourself tonight.

You could however suggest to him that you guys go out and spend th esame amount of money and make something yummy at home and hten you will drink...lol

lol we made a compremise... we got subway (he never likes to get subway)
so i got a roasted chicken sub with no cheese and extra everything except cucumbers. it was so yummy and a very fitting 730 calories. SO, I have enough room for 6 shots tonight :D wich should be enough to get me going and not so much i'm going to fall asleep lol

I still have to get in my 45 mins of yoga so i'm going to do that after my kids get to bed and while my H has a shower... Maybe if i can give him enough things to do while i'm doing that i'll be done before he gets out of the shower and i can jump in too ;)
 
Happy Valentine's everyone! For those of you who have romantic love and someone to snuggle up against tonight, be thankful!! LOL The only thing I am snuggling up with tonight is my doggies.

Been good with the exercise so far...got almost 6 hours in and plan on doing another few hours before the week is up. I'm really sore from bootcamp yesterday. We did pull ups until failure and then push ups right after followed by crunches and squats. Man is my upper body thrashed and sore! LOL

Today I took my new road bike for a spin w/my triathlon club and it was awesome!! I love it! Hope you all have a great night. Hugs!
 
So i did 12.25 miles on the recumbrant bike....1hr 45 mins...gooooo meeee!!!

Am very proud of myself

My youngest is sick so while she laid in bed i watched cartoons with her and then a show i wanted lol...

Hit a new low of 146.5 lbs WOOT WOOT! Well I haven't seen that number since October so I'm very pleased. Hope everyone's having a great weekend.
 
I haven't really budged the scale this week so far for some reason :confused:... Maybe I was wrong about the birth control thing... but this is definately odd for me. the only things that are different this week is that i made sure to stay close to my 1800 calories instead of allowing me to have lover 1500-1600 days here or there (but at 1800 I should definately still be in a deficit) and getting more protein... really hoping for at least a pound come tuesday :eek:

Wow, that excuse would not work on me in the least. If I tried to tell my wife that I'd be sleeping in the chicken coop. :toetap05:
 
This week I'm just falling apart. Here it is Suday and I've only got one hour of exercise in and I'm at the begining stages of a bad cold. I know this is going to be a doozy. So, I'm not getting my exercize points this week. Also, Friday night I was pretty good food wise, but I drank a bunch of beer, so I'm at zero for that day and last night was over in everyway. Zero there, too.

lol if you tried to tell her what? that she can't convince you to have a cheat day or if you tried to make her have a cheat day? lol i'm confused :p
 
If I said, "sorry Honey, I can't have a nice Valentine's Day dinner with you because my team is counting on my points..." :cuss: Well, I doubt that I'd get to the end of that. :cuss:

lol yeah thats the upper hand of being the woman :p
he's pretty understanding though... he knows this means a lot to me and it really doesnt matter what holiday it is, to me, its no excuse to blow my calories... challenge or no challenge really... the challenge is just more incentive not to because i had already set a goal not to blow it and am too bull headed to go back on that :sifone:
but on the other hand I did realize he wanted to do something nice in letting me not have to cook that day and just found a better alternative than mc donalds or pizza... so it all worked out :D
 
Hello team I feel like I'm barely hanging in there today.. so many temptations I'm trying so hard but idk yet... I'm scared about weigh in this week bc I haven't been drinking a lot of water a lot of diet rite and just not as much water as I usually drink.. and I've been eating a lot of pre packaged food this week I'm scared my sodium levels are way to high!! anyways just my thoughts but I gonna run will check back later
 
Hey ladies and man. This weekend was pretty good all around. Did a 5k race Satruday with the family... it was pretty cold but we had a great time! Yesterday was my long run day. The plan was to run 4 miles and beat my time of 57 flat... and as easy as it sounds to be your time... its not.. but I did 56:43. This coming week will be a 5 mile long run. We are planning on doing a 10k run the middle of March and I should be more than ready!!

I posted some pics of the race and myself in my diary if anyone is interested!
 
team one..i just weighed in and gained one pound...i look at my week and think i did really well so i cant understand except i didnt really hit the exercise hard last tues/wed/thurs..but still i thought i kept within my points...so i should be okay. i had a big drop the week before so i wonder if thats why? water retention? i had some wine so maybe i just gotta stay totally away from the booze.....i think it really sabotages you.

anyway....i am sorry...and so i am going to log in my weight
 
Hey team! I'm still here and working hard. I ran 3 miles on saturday while nauseated. LOL!! I also got 30 minutes on the Arc Trainer on friday as well. I got in a full hour of weight training last night but I am still one hour short for the week. I have classes until 9 tonight so i doubt I'm gonna get it in.

Since I'm pregnant, I have raised my calories to maintenance. I will be having 2000 on non-workout days and 2300-2500 on workout days. I am eating tons of food, just very healthy, high fiber stuff like raw carrots and celery, lean protein, fresh fruit, etc.

I'm gonna do this pregnancy right no matter how sick I am. I proved last week I can still run while nauseated so I'm gonna keep it up! It was not pleasant but I plan to come out of this pregnancy in great shape!
