i was down 2 pounds this morning too..i hope it sticks...for next week

i am setting myself a goal of 3 pounds this week, since i have had low weigh ins the last two

:iagree:Yup:iagree:Ive been here for while...Ive come and gone and have only stopped here and there for reasons beyond my control.Id say for the last year definately Ive been super serious and havent been doing anything I shouldnt be.IE eating well non stop, no junk cutting more and more out but I never have anythign to sho w for it except loooking a bit better and feeling better.It def makes me feel like a failure and liek I dont belong here but I keep truckin along.Somethings gotta give somewhere...sometime, I think...

Well my knee is feeling slightly better, pilates this morning didn't feel too great on it, but I was able to do some stuff at the gym (just stayed away from my leg weights), but now it's a stomach flu that's taking me down. I feel ick and nauseous constantlyyyy. I think most of it is a mental thing and I'm not going to let it get to me.

So today I got in an hour of pilates, 35 mins bike, 20 mins weights, and 25 mins elliptical.

That sucks but great exercise:)!!!

Aww I love reading what you guys write! Well said earlier Amy.

I have kind of a concern about the end of the challenge. If the challenge is based on weight loss, should we be concerned with percentage body weight loss or the actual pounds? Because some of the smaller people are losing GREAT numbers for their weight, but small numbers in comparison to a large person. Would this be taken into account?

Anyways, great work team one. Even though I don't post in here as much as I would like to, it is a great read when I get the daily updates during class on my blackberry!

To those of you struggling with stress, emotions, futility, and thyroid problems, my heart goes out to you :grouphug: I wish there was more I could do, but I'm already starting to feel overwhelmed as it is--with work, my own shayt, and ALL the gorgeous and wonderful, warm-hearted people on here going through lard times.....like Claudia said, I'm always happy when you do well and lose weight.

Me: I'm up a pound today, and close to PMSing--however, I have a plan. I ran today on the beach for 40 minutes, and I'm going to weight train at my gym with a routine that Steve made for me, and going to Yoga at 7:30. :ack2: It's a lot, but I'm up for it! :gnorsi:

OMG are you kidding MISSIE?!!! You are one of our staple forum members and so damn committed and supportive. I hated it when you are on and off the forum for a bit a while ago.

Honestly, can you believe how long some of us have been communicating on a daily basis now??
 
Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA, but I haven't had the internet usage I'm used to. Diet and exercise are going well, except for that I'm bummed I keep having to stay inside.
 
YAY!!!!!!!!!! I lost another pound and I'm now at my starting weight. Must be water, but whatever it is, I went up 2 pounds from the starting weight in the 2nd week and have been up there since, so I am very pleased. Now, if I can get myself below 145 then that is a number I haven't seen since October and I'll know this diet is working. ANd I am chowing down at my 3 meals too! Here's what I ate yesterday as an example.

BREAKFAST: bacon/eggs, tea w/ creamer
LUNCH: 2 small chicken fingers, squash lasagna, greens w/ chicken/hummus/spoonful of rice, tea w/ creamer
DINNER: fruit/milk shake, 2 pork chops, white rice, handful potato chips

I was like a whole page behind on this thread.... didn't get any email notifications from the forum : \

Anywho i stepped on the scale this morning and it said i was at 196 yesterday morning it said 196.8 and by yesterday afternoon it was 197 on the nose (which is weird for me, because i usually go down in weight by the afternoon).
I'm not all that excited since i'm pretty sure its water weight... i havent been drinking even close to the amount of water i normally do just because i ran out of water bottles, my hubby hasnt had time to get more for me and my water cooler is broken... and i am NOT a fan of tap water :ack2: all i can taste is chlorine... I can get it down if it's partially frozen in the freezer so i did that for my workout yesterday but it was still terrible and unless i'm dying of thirst i just cant make myself drink it...
I will force the H to the store tonight if it kills him.:cuss:
I need my water bottles.
 
Woot woot! I just got back from the gym (didn't end up going yesterday) and got in 30 mins weights and 30 mins cardio (stepper and bike). I plan to do an hour of cardio on Fri and Sat and then get my last hour, including weights, on Monday as usual. Yeah, I'm a last minute type..

Its almost 1pm and I'm still stuffed from my breakfast (which was quite huge: 5 slices bacon, omelette, buttered toast and I had already had a slimfast low carb shake) so I'm holding off on eating until 2pm or 3pm today. Previously I was eating my lunch at 12pm on the dot, but that seemed to have gotten me no where.
 
I decided to change my tittie pic cuz i was getting tired of it... it was taken at the same time as the other one but i didnt add any text to this one... but it works... speaking of tits... Relly... where did yours go?
