Please hang in there and get the rest you need, and deal with exercise when you can--working nights would absolutely KILL my mood, you are a super woman for managing! :hurray: I hope you stay in the challenge!

Ladies, I'm glad Cassy got a treadmill, Claudia was able to avoid the tempting cake and get her workouts in, and the rest of you are working so hard!

I've kept my calories within range and been ESPECIALLY good about stopping myself from choosing to eat cookies, candy, cake, and too much chocolate. I've been allowing myself just enough chocolate (LOL) and getting my sweet tooth fix from fruit juices and snack with honey in them. My skin is less congested now, so perhaps all that sugar was doing a number on my endocrine system. Either way, I'm also not drinking and MAN OH MAN is it great not to be tired or hung over at all! :party:

My weight this morning was 143.5, which is odd, but I had a salty dinner and a high range day yesterday--also I tend to put on a few pounds close to ovulation before they drop off at about Day 20. I'm not too worried because I know what I'm eating; however, I also predicted a gain or stabilizing of my weight since I dropped weight so fast last week. Patience, is what it takes. I'm kinda shocked that we're only half way through--it seems like we've been on this challenge for slightly longer! LOL

My respiratory infection and coughing fits while trying to sleep have made me tired and unable to perform much cardio exercise. I'm getting better, though, and looking forward to running again!
 
Relly, don't give up on us. We're not giving up on you. You are doing great, and if the scale isn't showing it, then screw it. With all the exercise and good food choices, you are making improvements. What does that dumb scale know anyway. :smash:
 
Oh, and as for the water challenge, I gave up on that day one. 3 letres a day. No way. It's only five points, so I put a fat zero in that column last Tuesday. :D
 
I'm good on the water challenge, I drink a ton every day anyways. The scale however has gone up 2lbs! I have been eating impeccably, especially the past three days (tons of raw veggies). I think this is due to being off the thyroid meds for 2 weeks while waiting for this new base doctor to run labs. My other doc (moved away) said this would happen if I stopped the meds. Bah!!! Oh well, I plan to pile on the raw veggies and lean protein in hopes if dropping the 2lbs and more until the meds issue is straightened out.

Wanna know how bad it sucks to HAVE to rely on stupid meds to fuel your metabolism??? Grrr!
 
well i lost 1/2 a pound..not the greatest but i drank some wine (well alot) last night and a margarita the night before..i stayed within my points everyday except Sunday (rats!!) but probably not the best choices about the booze especially the night before weigh in....i vow no drinky alkie this week....and to continue doing small jogs on the treadmill. i am walking then doing 1 minute runs about every 7 minutes...

WOOT WOOT yay for the low Trops!!!

I myself am still holding at 139.0 however TOM is visiting so I would assume that number is high... who knows!

I was pretty proud of myself to be able to start school and still get all my workouts in as planned. I will be keeping it up this week aswell!

Good work!!! One thing I loved about school was all the walking on campus! I hope you have a great semester, or quarter...

Hello Team! I'm glad to see everyone still working hard here!

I know I haven't been around much last week, but I am working it here at home. My week wasn't as great as I planned, but this week I want to get perfect points!!

Half way through this challenge already! It's going fast!!!

Way to go Trops!!!! You are kicking major ass at this challenge! What is your goal weight?

Girl I'd kill for a half pound loss at this moment. Way to go!!!! If you drank the night before then the loss will be even bigger next week!! Woot!
 
The 2lbs I gained are GONE! Back to my starting weight though. :( I can't seem to get the damn scale to budge so I have raised my calorie goal for each day and hope that it will help. With me being so active in my normal daily routine plus my added exercise, I think they may be a little low. We'll see next tuesday!!!

What happened to all the smack talk?? Maybe I need to go to team 2's thread and shake things up a bit...

Meh!! You are like a Jack Russel.... a "THUG in a CLOWN SUIT"!!! :D It's hard to take smack talk from a person that looks cute, even while wearing her "GAME FACE"!!! ;) :D :)

WOW week 4 Already! I'm happy to be down 3.4 pounds by now but i think i was expecting more then that... when they say it's good to lose 1-2 lbs a week i was hoping i would be leaning more toward the 2 lbs a week in stead of 1... but hey, i'll take what i can get right?
