Weight-Loss
I enjoy having my belly rubbed too...

:smilielol5: :smilielol5: Nice!!! Does your leg go crazy at the same time?? ;) :D You're killing me here... Come on... I'm trying to get you pissed, and have big results!!!

Dee, You're probably a few pounds lower--I was kinda worried about :reddevil: messing with my Tuesdays weigh-ins, but so far through this challenge it hasn't overlapped.

Miranda, Glad to see you back and excited! :D I'm sure this week will be perfect for you. Hope to see you Saturday at the Margaret Cho show! :sifone:

Amy: Hell yes, 2lbs gone! Sorry you have to deal with that frustrating thyroid condition. Did you know that inverted Yoga poses can help cure that shit? I'd give it a shot if I were you! Let me know if you want me to provide you some routines to do--but you'd have to do them everyday. It'd feel good and you don't have anything to lose! (except possibly weight! :D)

Cassy: 3.4 pounds!!!!! And only half way through the challenge--be patient, work hard, keep eating to deficits, and you'll keep losing!!!

Me: I started this challenge at 145.5 lbs. I am now 140.0 lbs!!! :hurray: Thanks to you and the spreadsheet, I've mastered the early humps of diet pitfalls and feel really in control of my eating, which was my problem to begin with--the issue that held me back from losing more weight. Sorry that some of you have unforeseen and mysterious issues that prevent much loss right now :( I definitely hope you ladies can figure out the problem.

This week I stayed in my range, had my cheat day (2600 calories! Yippee!), got all my exercise in, and was SICK to boot. I feel better and am absolutely looking forward to CARDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!

thanks val your always so motivating... I was looking at the inverted poses you were tellint amy about since i've been suspicious of my thyroid a little bit (lol not that i would actually ever go to a doctor about it knowing me) but by the looks of it theyre all things i'm not capable of doing yet lol... i cant even pull off the shoulder stand let alone a head or hand stand. lol maybe i should try just hanging upside down over my bed? lol I tried...

WOOOOHOOO!!!!!!! 2 lbs DOWN!!!

...quick question.....if I wasn't able to put in last week that I stayed the SAME weight...in the little weight section...how do I do it now...so that it calculates on the spread sheet that I lost 2 lbs this week....

....thankssss :D:!!!

The trick is the pressure on your thyroid gland, itself--not necessarily being upside down. Try some with the. If anything it'll reduce stress and cleanse your lungs. Here's a video on basic pranayama:

Whoa, weight loss just go expensive! Damn, Trops, you'll be a Skinny Minnie at 185!

That's why I put it 10 pounds lower then I thought I wanted. Now I'm thinking it's probably closer to a real goal weight.

What do we have, three more weeks of this challenge? I don't think I can really lose it all by then, but you never never know. :sifone:

I'm good on the water challenge, I drink a ton every day anyways. The scale however has gone up 2lbs! I have been eating impeccably, especially the past three days (tons of raw veggies). I think this is due to being off the thyroid meds for 2 weeks while waiting for this new base doctor to run labs. My other doc (moved away) said this would happen if I stopped the meds. Bah!!! Oh well, I plan to pile on the raw veggies and lean protein in hopes if dropping the 2lbs and more until the meds issue is straightened out.

Wanna know how bad it sucks to HAVE to rely on stupid meds to fuel your metabolism??? Grrr!
:(.....aww don't worry ....you'll be back down in no time!.......:grouphug:!!!

M. E. D. S. = MAKING EVERY DAY SUCCESS!!!!......see..THEY ARE GOOD FOR YOU!!! TAKE EM & let's DROP THOSE lbs!

Hello Team! I'm glad to see everyone still working hard here!

I know I haven't been around much last week, but I am working it here at home. My week wasn't as great as I planned, but this week I want to get perfect points!!

...hey MISSY!!! Glad you are working it!!! ...we've missed you!! :grouphug:!!!!

well i lost 1/2 a pound..not the greatest but i drank some wine (well alot) last night and a margarita the night before..i stayed within my points everyday except Sunday (rats!!) but probably not the best choices about the booze especially the night before weigh in....i vow no drinky alkie this week....and to continue doing small jogs on the treadmill. i am walking then doing 1 minute runs about every 7 minutes...
!! Wooohoooo!!! NO DRINKIE...I LOVE IT!!! hehehe!!! :reddevil: JOIN US!

WOW week 4 Already! I'm happy to be down 3.4 pounds by now but i think i was expecting more then that... when they say it's good to lose 1-2 lbs a week i was hoping i would be leaning more toward the 2 lbs a week in stead of 1... but hey, i'll take what i can get right?
you are doing AMAZING!!!!.....:D:!!! ....be HAPPY!! ;)!!!!

...I don't think I ever told you,...hehe..but your avi is GREAT!!! :D:!! Love the bra...LOL!!

Thanks Val Those Are Great Links! I'll give them a try and if all it does is release stress (which of course it will) I can ALWAYS use stress relief :D
thanks again
