Nice workout Trops! Where in the world did you just happen onto some sand bags LOL. Wow, talk about creativity!!!!

I did 30 minutes of weights yesterday and 15 minutes of cardio. I'm not sure if I'll have time to get anything in today, but will definitely be back at the gym tomorrow and then I have my elliptical machine at home to do the rest of my workouts.

I was really good with my eating yesterday so one good day DOWN!

I am an avid runner and love to weight train. When my husband isn't off training or flying I run an average of 10-15 miles a week and weight train 90 minutes (3 days).

Hey Amy!! I am a runner to!! We should talk more! Just ran 50mins on the treadmill. An easy run...I usually run 3x a week w/my long runs on the weekend. I ran 4 half marathons and 1 full marathon last year (couple 10K's and 5K's also). I'm looking to sign up for another 1/2 marathon soon. Next fall I will attempt my 2nd full marathon. Now I am training for my first triathlon in May. It will be an Olympic distance. The swimming is super tough...the bike hurts my butt...but I have the running down!!

Can't wait to lose some weight with you and the rest of Team #1!!
 
lol that sweet trops... i've run up and down my stairs 20 times or so but never with a bag of anything lol better be careful someone might think your stealing their bags of sand...
 
Damn Trops, thats awesome! My goal is to run a half marathon by the end of the year. I can easily go 8-10 miles depending on my knees, I just rarely have time to go that long. Good for you for going the distance! I'm jealous... Pre-pregnancy I would run 12-15 miles with no problem. I think my knees are having trouble with the extra 30lbs! Lol!

We definitely need to chat more, sounds like we have lots in common.
 
Got in a great workout last night! 45 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training. My HR monitor showed that I torched 750 calories. Whoop Whoop!

Also my calories were only at 1405 for the day.

We're gonna win this!
 
Hee, hee. I wasn't carrying the bags up the stairs. I thought about it, but it's a real steep stairway, not the safest for carrying an extra 100 pounds and not having your hands free. :svengo:

Team totals are at the bottom of the spreadsheet. I'm loving scrolling through the exercise section to see what people are doing every day for exercise. It seriously is motivating!! I'm going to work out right now.

My plan is to eat less than 12,600 calories per week, which amounts to an average of 1800 calories per day. If I'm not losing on that in the next few weeks, I'll lower that to an average of 1700 calories per day. Yesterday I had just over 1400 so I'm good so far. I hope with the 4 hours of vigorous exercise that will be sufficient to lose some weight..we shall see..

What's everyone else doing for their eating plan??
 
My plan is to eat more (believe it or not) I honestly don't think I eat enough and to eat healthy. a fruit smoothy every morning and just to add some more fruit and veg in.

Try to eat every 3 - 4 hrs.

I already eat pretty well for the most part...

I just finally figured out how to d/l c-5k:) and I actually go tit on my mp3 player, lol.Im excited to start:)The musice is pretty lame thou:(

Im gonna learn to jog/run if it kills me...

Oh and my apologizes...I had a small mcdonald fries yesturday and a piece of lemon merange pie that granny had made fresh...

So no points for me, but typically guys im always pretty good.

Does everyone know their BMR?

It is helpful in determining how many calories your body burns on a daily basis normally.



I'm trying to say under my BMR to create a deficit so I can lose the pounds.
 
My eating plan is less than 1900 a day. This is lower than I've shot before, so we'll see how it goes.. (I usually said between 1800 and 2100) so I have a more definite cut off right now which I think will be really good for me.

Hey me too :) Well Im nearly 27 anyway! I teach primay 6 (10 year olds) and find it so stressful!! I dont blame you for changing job!

Anyway, I'm Allie and I recently lost 35lbs....and then put 25lbs back on again:willy_nilly: i know exactly where i went wrong and I wont be making the same mistake again! I really dont have a choice now, as my husband and I booked a holiday to St Lucia for the summer to celebrate his 30th and our 10 yr anniversary (only been married for 4 of those tho!). I am determind to not be the fattest person on the beach and to be fit enough to hike the Pitons and rainforest trails.

I'm so glad to be on this team as I recognise a few names and I know that we will totally kick ass!!!

my husband and I booked a holiday to St Lucia for the summer to celebrate his 30th and our 10 yr anniversary

Friends of ours went there for their honeymoon last year and it looks amazing. They had a room where one wall was missing becuase the wind always blows away, so your whole room is open to the ocean. Very cool.
 
So I have my excersize in the bag for the day. Calories should be fine I never go over more then a few calories mostly because i plan ahead in the day what i'm going to eat.. and to top it all off believe it or not I already seem to be down a pound. I weigh myself every afternoon.
My body seems to have kicked into high gear after my 2 week holiday break from excersizing.
