1480 calories yesterday with 65 minutes of exercise (burned 640 calories). Woot! Exercise would have been longer but my damn knee buckled when I was putting down the weight bar. I hit the mat holding my knee in horrible pain. Needless to say, I limped out of the gym and went home to ice and elevate it. Bah!!! My stupid knees!! I jacked both of them up in highschool playing basketball so they now give me problems. I've torn my meniscus in my left knee twice and once in my right knee. Ouch! I've been putting off surgery for years to remove all the scar tissue.

Soo, I may not get to go running this weekend depending on my knee. I'll still do pilates and weight train to get in the remaining 1.5 hours for the weeks goal. I've already met my weight training goal, but hell, exercise is exercise! It's still pretty sore today, but if it continues to feel better, I'll try to get a run in on sunday.

Aww Sorry your knee ended up taking one for the team... hope it gets better soon :)

Thanks, it'll get better. It just takes longer for the inflammation to go away for me cuz I'm allergic to aspirin AND ibuprofen. It's just a waiting game. I think I'll be up for a long run on sunday though.
 
well i dont have a choice but to get my 20 minutes of walking in but i'm thinking outside of that i'll be taking the day off... maybe even a nap... I'm feeling very out of sorts today and think its time for a rest.
At least I already have all my excersize hours in for the week. I might do 30 minutes of stepping but I think I should just take a hint from my body:ack2:...

Damn, that sucks. was it bad form putting down the weights or it just went and it didn't matter what was going on? remember, team, all this is for naught if you get hurt. Stay healthy.
 
I think it's because were missing a few people who arnt logging points... I wonder whats going to happen if some people just dont come back and participate...
