workout update

Monday= 60min step
Tuesday= 30 min spinning
Wednesday= Rest
Thursday=60 minutes step
This week so far... Not what I was hoping to be up to, but I am focusing more on my dieting right now. Usually, I like to lift hard and heavy, but I do have the type of body that can pack on muscle (husband is even jealous), so I am just going to get down to goal weight using cardio and incorporating high reps starting in June. I am having a hard time going to the classes because all the instructors are not my favorite. Seeing as how I have taught and done aerobics since I was a teenager, I am getting picky at my old age!
 
Al right people, I changed my wieghts according to my doctor's scale. I still lost the same amount but I'm not quite at ONEderland like I originally thought. I actually changed my ticker today according to what my doctor's scale said yesterday. I'll just have to use my big digital and minus 2 pounds from it when I do wiegh myself to get an accurate weight. I'm going to miss the hell out of my old dail scale that says I weigh 194, *sigh* but I know that's not accurate.

Still, I lost a total of 25 pounds since the end of February so I really can't complain too much. :)
 
I hope everyone is doing well. Finals week really got to me with the stress eating and eating to stay awake :( but its over now and I am home and getting rested and ready to start really kicking up my exercise.
 
Well done something new, I hope they went well for you. Mine are not over for 11 days yet- I cannot WAIT for them to be over, I'm getting desperate! I have not been binging, but I'm definately eating more than I would be if I didn't have exams. And of course I have very little time for exercise. Bring on the summer!
 
I think they went pretty well (crosses fingers) I won't know for sure though until grades come out. Good luck on yours!!

I got really bad with eating the last few days of finals.....its just so much easier to eat pizza and study than to try and eat salad and fruit (this is at least what I told myself :p )

I think I'm going to have to go through withdrawal from caffeine again. I went through it once and got used to it pretty quickly, but wow this last week I drank SOOOOO many energy drinks lol. I'm pretty sure my body is really dehydrated. But since my body got used to the caffeine again, I foresee many headaches over the next few days as I wean myself off again.

I've walked 2.35 miles for 2 days in a row. I'm hoping to walk about 5 tomorrow when i get back from the horses by walking down to the beach. Should be fun. The only thing is though, I hate walking alone in Everett...it's a slightly scary place! :eek: So I take my dad, and my dog, then I'm pretty safe! :D
 
Week 2

This week has been OK, but not nearly as good as week 1, as my exams are now on top of me! Meaning precious little time for anything apart from revision (so exercise, and buying and cooking healthy food has bumped down the list of priorities, I have mainly been living on tinned soup and breakfast cereal!) I have still lost 1lb this week though :)

TUESDAY week 1 session 3 couch to 5k, walk 1 hour
WEDNESDAY water aerobics class
THURSDAY None
FRIDAY Workout dvd 20 mins, walk 30 mins
SATURDAY Walk 1 hour
SUNDAY None

Calorie intake for this week = 1805 + 1622 + 1750 + 2008 + 1892 + 1669 + 1718

Average = 1781

Total calorie deficit this week = 381 + 774 + 460 + 0 + 351 + 562 + 282 = 2810

Wow, this week has been a rollercoaster ride. Because of finals I gained about 5lbs, but for the last 2 days I have gone back to my strict diet and managed to lose 3 of those pounds. I am not worried though cause my mindset is back on track with the diet and I know that the weight is going to come off.

lol its not a requirement or anything, someone just suggested it and so those who want to can keep track of weekly stats can. I think it was on page 6 that it was brought up. :)
 
I know I'm super late but better later than ever, right? I really need the motivation this summer and I really want to challenge myself. So since I'm posting these horrible pictures at 230lbs, I REALLY have something to prove to myself.

My hubby had an emergency appendectomy which equaled company coming over to help out with the kids which in turn equaled going off the diet. I find it nearly impossible to stay on my diet when company is over because they don't exactly want to be eating what I normally do. Anyhow, no weight gain, but no loss and I am now two weeks behind my goal times. It is so obvious I want to slip and sabotage now that I am not getting to my goals... I need to lose this baggage more than my weight! UGGGH!
 
Okay, Well I'm starting a little late, I'll have to take and post my picture tomorrow, but just having this to start off with will be good for me I think... Can't wait to get started!!:jump:

it's okay to be starting late, I am too, maybe we can have our own end date after everyone else's lol... anyways, if you keep at it you could probably lose a fourth or even a third of yourself by the end of this! :)
 
Hey, I think your guys' end date should be the same as ours! I mean, I've been doing crappy and haven't actually really started so if you get to end later, then I get to as well! LOL... oy! I really need to step this up! I always remember this challenge AFTER I've eaten like crap and didn't go exercise! I'm not starting this so well at all!

Ah, I don't really care too much when the end date is, but I guess if I keep the goal end date the same as nemesis's then I have more reason to work harder. But heck, I could put up an after for his, keep working, and then do a separate after. When's your end date?
 
I believe the end date is end of August, I'd have to look back to make sure. I'm kinda out of luck for the next couple weeks. I had a little surgery done and I can't do my cardio kickboxing for at least two weeks so I don't rip the stitches. It hurts too much to do that stuff anyways, lol. So, I'm gonna be behind on that aspect, I'll start to go on walks or cyclying at the gym next week, but I'm not going to do anything for a few days until it gets healed up a bit more.

And yeah people have been posting their pics in here :)
