Risty: That'll suck not being able to do anything, I know that if I go that long without doing anything it's hard to get back on track. I guess at least you can still diet lol. But anyways, end of August is good, I'll just have to work extry hard :D

Back to Basics

Dear challengers:

I will start this challenge today. I joined a gym on saturday and went to my first spinning class in years. I had a blast but every part of my body hurt so much!!!!
I was a member of this forum since last year. As usual I lost my focus, cut dieting and gain 8 more pounds in one year. Now I feel like a real looser. Finally I'm back and I will continue in this internal struggle trying to keep motivation. Any sugestions???? Welcome to my journey. I will post everyday.

I will weight myself this afternoon. I have the first evaluation on the gym today. :eek2: !!!!! I hope to find support and friends in this forum. I will post my weight tomorrow.

What is the date this challenge will finish???

I'm not going to lie, I do get on the scale more than that, however, it's only the Sunday weigh ins that count in my book. Weight can fluxuate too much every day to take every day weigh ins too seriously, all though I sometimes do wiegh my self that much but it's more out of curiosity than anything else.

I do think for me anyway, it's the week to week weights that count.
 
Yeah it does suck to not be doing what I want to do, but I should be able to get back to it mid next week. I could have continued with my diet however, I find it easier to be good on your diet while exercise and feeling good. Without the exercise I just felt like.. blah.. and so I ate like it too. Bad me, bad!

However today I was able to go on a walk on my lunch hour and it didn't hurt me, so yay. I'm also planning on biking to work (gas is too expensive anyways) and I'll be checking out bikes tomorrow to possibly buy. Then next week once I'm healed more, I'll go back to my cardio kickboxing and resistance training along with the walking and possibly biking to work.

I'll start posting my weight next week or the week after, since I'm still at my 167. something or other, lol.
 
Hey guys, I havent been on here in a while (finals and then a vacation). I have gained back about 10lbs because of those 2 things, but I know it will come off easily cause its mostly water weight (waaay too much salt lately, plus TOM just got here). I am actually starting the Master Cleanse tomorrow to give me a little boost and I am thinking about trying raw veganism for a while after that. I just wanted to check in on here cause I do want to be a part of this challenge. :) Hope everyone is doing well.
 
That reminds me, I wanted to start my cleansing thingy today and I totally forgot. So maybe I'll start tomorrow, or at the beginning of next week. Thanks Somethingnew for helping me remember, lol.
 
My initial weight

OK !!

This is embarrassing!! My initial weight is 203.4 pounds. That is the heaviest I ever been. The last day of my pregnancy I was 181 :eek2: . I am accepting and posting my weight to encourage me. I have to loose the fear of the scale.

I know I'm late in this challenge but here I am. I want to loose 15 pounds by the end of the summer. Do you think is too much??? Any advice?

Hi all!

Just to let you know I am still very much in this challenge!!! I still will post pictures at end of August, and I will post here at least once a week with exercise, calorie intake etc, as I have been.

But I am not going to weigh myself for at least a month, for various reasons (see my diary!) so I won't be posting my weight every week any more :)

Too late?

Just wondering if it was too late to kind of join in on the challenge? I have pics after working out for a month, and I'm sure I could find something from the beginning of the month.
 
Can I start late? I have fifteen pounds to lose by sept first. Doctors orders, he is actually giving me motivation in itself. It was twenty, but I have lost five already and I don't have a clue how, because I only do activities on the weekend, like bike rides, swimming= not very stimulating, but great during summer! lol and I want to start walking around the neighborhood and hike the mountains, the easy ones for now.

anyway ..my start weight is 299...
