Hi, Kate, sounds like you're doing GREAT on weight loss. You know, very few people can actually say that they can control weight loss and everything that we eat, but in fact we CAN control it. The fact that you know you can do it is very empowering and encauraging! Indeed, many things in life we cannot control, and weight is not one of them. That is very difficult to realize for many people, especially those starting out or who had repeated defeats. Thank you for mentioning it!
 
wow thanks so much everyone! it keeps me going, and keeps me inspired!

I had little chance to record anything this past weekend, stayed busy with family members, etc... but am back to making sure things go well this week. Saturday was a kind of cheat day, but no worries:D

Going to SHOOT for four miles today, and each day this week. But doing 3 each day is the lowest Im going to let myself do. Just kind of have to wait and see...spring break was a bit of a mess up on trying to find any time to do anything, but with kids all back in classes, it ought to be easier now. My title for this past week should be 'chauffer' because all I did was move kids all around the various places...no different this morning..I will be SO glad when my oldest son's car is back on the road! aarrggh!!!

Will sign on later to post food, and exercise.

I have an idea for your walks with your daughter, what about a wagon? Think of all the extra calories you'll burn when she gets tired and you're lugging a wagon full of first grader around the extra 2 or 3 miles! Whew, I'm tired just thinking of it! I know that was last week's subject, but I'm a little slow sometimes. I hope you're having a great day so far, and sometimes life upheavals work to our benefit even if they're scary or unpleasant initially. I know you're not ready to spill it all out here, but just know that we're all rooting for you, no matter whatever else is going on!

Hey Kate! Congratulations on getting the 4 miles in! That is awesome! I just have to say that I guess that is one good thing about breaking your leg - you don't have to be anyone's chauffer! Lol! :D
 
my goodness, i go away for a weekend and you are down to 143. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your hard work is really paying off.

You caught me! You're right! Lol! :D Well, won't be glad to be running everyone around again but will be glad to be mobile! Lol!
 
just did ANOTHER< count em , another mile and a half for a total of five and a half miles today!!!! it was a really fun jog/skip/run/walk with all the kids:D:D
 
Wow, you are racking up the mileage. You're my inspiration girl! My feet are still giving me the bird, I keep telling them that they should take lessons from yours, but they just grunt and ignore me. haha

Hey Kate........awesome job on the walking!! I need to get off my treadmill and go walk outside some now before it gets too hot. Plus, it would be pretty with the wildflowers starting to bloom.

Sorry to hear that you are at a crossroads in life. I certainly know how difficult that can be. Hope things work out the way you hope they will. Sending good thoughts your way!

5.5 miles- holy hunnies, thats awesome!! On the bike I can go huge miles, eliptical I can do a good amount, but walking always seems to kick my butt...weird... :) anyways, keep up the good work :)
 
thanks yall, soo much! guess it paid off, cuz Im at 142, an other pound lost! it always feels good to change your ticker! Im one happy camper!

So, am just finishing up a tasty breakfast, and sipping on some coffee, and then will head out for another hopeful four miles, and the kids want to do another walk this afternoon..we will see! Im soo tired, didnt catch enough winks last night( no excuse, really, just kept reading stuff on puter:D) so mayyybe after a quick nap before going and picking up kids later...still a flippin chauffer, and not liking it much
