They have let me come home, no sign of pneumonia in my lungs, all upper respiratory go back in if I get worse, we are all at home till our isolation period is over and have negative tests. Little miss is tho only one not vaxed as she is too young. She has a cough but is otherwise ok.

They said it was common for people to multiple RATs and get negative results but test positive at the hospital. I took 2 RATS on the weekend, both negative.

That's probably why only PCR tests carry any weight here. Glad your lungs are clear, at least.

I have been very doubtful about the RATs. How on earth did they get approved? I really hope you recover quickly, Tru & the muck stays away from your lungs.

We have a second box of RATs my GP has asked me to use one out of the new box to test the batch, if it is negative we need to get a different box to test the others in the house.

The test at the hospital was also a RAT but the positive result was "screamingly positive" even before the full wait time.

When my GP had covid his wife did not get it and one of their sons currently has it but his wife is also fine, so very hit and miss as to getting it or not even if close in the same house.

It does seem very hit & miss as to who gets it & who doesn't. I would be interested to know what brand RATs you used at home (pm would be good) as I have a theory about 2 different sorts I have. Let's say I have a lot more confidence in one than the other.

Feeling a lot better. Little miss is handling isolation well, especially as today is hatch day for her chicken eggs, 5 so far with 4 to go, it is quite noisy in the kitchen as they are all finding their voices.

That's great to hear. And what well-behaved chicks to come distracting Little Miss right on target.

I am almost back to normal but the recommended time to return to exercise is 15 minutes low intensity for the first ten days after Covid recovery otherwise a higher risk of long Covid effects. Then build back slowly.

When my phone recharges I will take a short video of the chicks to share, little miss is keen to give them all names.

I have also completed my subject enrolments for next semester. Scientific research methods (lots of maths and statistics) and Exercise Physiology.

I'm glad you're recovering quickly, Tru while being really sensible about getting back into exercise slowly.

I have been cleared to leave Isolation but for 7 day I still need to wear a mask and cannot enter vulnerable facilities (health facilities, aged care etc.) So I can return to Uni and do my presentation on Friday. I have no intention of leaving the house until then just to be sure.

Hi Trusylver. Hoping that you avoid any long term effects and are feeling back to yourself soon.

The chicks are adorable. :)

I have started tracking food again and the light recovery exercise is not leaving me fully drained like it was a few days ago. Now I just have to stop procrastinating and get my brain into gear to finish an assignment.

Having re-activated my cronometer membership I see it has some new features, specifically tracking your fasting for those doing IF and different targets can be set for different days for those doing a more cyclic style diet or training day targets and non training day targets etc.

Almost finished my assignment, I still have a summery and recommendations to write, I still have almost 2 week before I have to submit but I want it out of the way in case I get sick again.
