Wow i can't believe that now I'm like going against my word. I actually resorted to cheating. Dammit. Bleached flour pizza is my downfall. Unfortunetly I don't live near a pizza place that sells whole wheat pizza. I gave in. I had a choice, but still I gave in. I was doing so good too. Yet I just gave in why!?!

I can't wait until I get outta off here. Home that is. I need to pass all my classes in order to get my certification. School is just so hard. I'm not a school because and never really was. School sucks plain and simple. Studying just sucks.

Whatever this isn't a matter of me making changes in my life. It's a matter of me actually sticking to it. Everything in moderation I suposed. I swear it's like Pizza and all the bad junk foods are like crack. No I've never been to rehab, but I have been to a psych hospital. I know how been get when they're addicted literally. This is not one of those times. I need to carry on anyway's. I can't and never should give in.

I think bad foods are spiked with nano-robots that take over your subconscious mind and are programmed to subliminally tell you to keep eating more ...

Not that I'm paranoid or anything :D

Seriously? I think it's your body's natural cravings for starch and sugar. This happens to me when the weather starts turning colder. Probably the reason why most people try to add more mass during the winter ... and why they cut for the summer ;) It's far easier to eat lots of food in the winter because our bodies are programmed to store fat/go into a state of torpor when it's cold and to be leaner when it's warm outside.

Just my $0.02 on the whole craving thing :) I'm not sure it's backed up by any hard scientific data ...

I am lucky i guess i really don't have any craving for bad foods and so on. Usually if i have something bad i don't like it or i may like it and just not have it again...So that's just my little add on :D.

Also i find it way harder in the winter to get motivated to go to the gym...Its so cold!

I feel like **** right now. Nothing's going right for me. I had junk for breakfast. I had no other choice neither. It was either that or starve until much later. I feel as though I may go back to bad habbits if I continue like this.

I gotta do something about this I swear. Now I got a cold too. I'm not overtraining though.

Focus!!!!! Get your poop in a scoop. Where is your inner strength? It's still there. It's waiting to be tapped.

You have everything you need to succeed within you, Ryofire ;)

I do have it and I'll prove to the whole world I can do it. I can go the distance and I will.

I am guided by the sign of the hammer. I can't give in even if I'm the only one literally not giving in. I need to study for now and then get a good night's rest. It's the weekend yet I still have to study. Luckily today was my day of rest. Enough said and still not much done.

Sign of the hammer = Mjolnir/Thor's Hammer it's a symbol of Asatru similar to the cross of the christian faith. Read up more about it, but by all means make sure you get the right information about it there's alot of false info on it. I don't like using the word (pagan XD), but it's norse/germanic paganism or in better terms polytheism.

Ancient symbol of Mjolnir.

Sign of the hammer was originally a line used by the heavy metal band Manowar, but none the less it is refering to a sacred symbol, and the meaning of the symbol as well as what it represents. I have a very limited knowledge about Asatru or Odinism (something I've been practicing for a little more then a year "mainly" focused around Odin). By all means I'll try to answer whatever questions I can about it so I don't mind people asking, as long as it's in a respectful manner.

Mental Notes:

-Cut down on amount of work a little bit, in order to avoid overload.

-Always seek better ways to incorperate Martial Arts Training into Weight Training.

-When tracking Progress make Mental Notes to help yourself.

-Set some more short term goals in strength training, aerobic training, martial arts, and etc so that you won't quit.

-Try to stick to drop sets for more personal preferance.

Short Term Goals as of 10/29/08

Seated Cable Rows: 200 lbs

Arnold Dumbbell Press: 35 lbs

Bicep Curls: 60 lbs

Handstand Push Up: being able to do this exercise for 15 reps

Bench Press: 135 lbs

Squats: 170 lbs

All except the handstand push up should be able to be done with ease for 8 reps at the most. DO NOT go for a one rep max.....to be continued (I'm at the school library and they're kicking me out cuz it's closing time).

The handstand pushup...I don't do those anymore i use to do them awhile back but forgot how it was done. Are these done of the wall straight up & down?

Most people do handstand push-ups against a wall for balance.

A few people can do them unassisted ;) That's far more impressive, but not very common.

Trust me I need the balance practice. Especially for hung gar. I haven't been able to go to class in a while, so I'm doing alot of practicing on my own. Every little bit helps.

Arrgggg not much of a workout. New england sucks I swear. I think I have thinner blood than most people I swear. I just don't function in colder weather as well as warmer weather. "some like it hot, some like it cold" meh I can go both ways with this. I'm just a wimp sometimes I need to adjust to the cooler weather that's aproaching. you know what that means right?

I need to start wearing layers again. What can I say or do? Alright enough chit chat, I need to find a better place to do things for the time being to practice hung gar until my financial status is better. I'm having a hard time getting to class because I need to keep up my monthly fee's (trust me the lessons are worth it). I didn't get enough time to practice hard enough today. There's like no place to practice out in the open in an urban area. My college is in a suburban area so maybe I can find some place there to practice. I like to practice in quit areas because I don't want to bring too much attention to myself. I found an awesome place in Boston to practice, (underneath the bridge that takes you to NH) but now it's a no trespassing law there. Tust me the last thing I want is to be arrested for something that stupid. Also school sucks as usual, but I need it in order for me to have a better life need I say more?

I'm gonna take a walk from my house to the ICA (institue of contemporary art). I only got a few punching and kicking drills as well as basic form practicing in.

Mental Notes:

-Stop making excuses and just train. :boxing_smiley:

-Find a set place to practice.

-Tis the session.......to wear more layers.

Yes, People use the wall to start out for awhile then once you get your balance you can go no wall! Which is very impressive...

I need to keep on building upper strength to start on the wall again :).
