In other news, I've got a cold. This is generally not fun.
 
Apparently it's so contagious that when I sneeze people on the other side of the world get sick :eek:

I haven't trained at all this past week. Today I went to the beach, tackled some waves and confirmed that I'm terrible at soccer in the sand. My triumphant return to activity.
 
Glad you are feeling better, playing in the sun is bound to help! Not so sure that puns will help, Tony, but nice effort!
 
I've trained on Mon/Tue/Wed this week, but as of yet could not be bothered recording any of it. I'm going to need to be very disciplined in my time management for the next 3 months: 9 weeks of lectures and tutorials followed by 4 weeks of prac, all while managing the business and setting apart time for God and close friends.

The good news is that most of my assessment this semester is stuff that's new to everyone else in the course, but I did the same type of assessment last year as I was doing subjects that are intended for later on this year. That should help make life a bit easier.
 
In PT news, I had a client come in this morning 2.5kg lighter than a week ago, +15kg onto his squat from last week, +20kg on 10 rep deadlifts and set an all-time PB when already fatigue but looking like he was still lightly warming up as that bar came up his legs. These are the days I really love doing what I do.
 
Circuits can include anything but generally good to mix up intensities so you get active recovery, I love that term, makes such little and perfect sense.

The first time I heard of and tried circuit training, I was a bit confused by the lack of batteries and lightbulbs being used.

A couple years later when I studied circuit training in my Dip.Fitness, I learned to create and do the most brutal circuits I've seen. I haven't done them like that in a very long time. Yesterday's bench/pull up/SLDL circuit really helped to reconnect me with my sadomasochistic self.
