Hey girls I haven’t been on because I have been wallowing in self pity, I have put on another kg this week and im feeling sorry for myself. I have been to the doctors again this week and the good news is all bad fats are going down and good fats are going up, bad news is I have to go and have some girly things done…yuck.

I understand how you feel. I was telling Amanda today that I only have another 20 maybe 30 pds to loose and I really want to get serious and get it over with! Sorry its such a struggle Rhonda, but lets not give up!

What do you mean by having 'girly' things done??
 
:eek: :eek: Im sorry girls I should have been clearer, I have to go for a smear and get my tubes done so I don’t have to worry about having babies no more:D .
 
I had my tubes done a little more than a year ago..what a blessing!! I LOVE not having to worry anymore!!
 
I had my tubes done during the c section having my daughter!2 years later to the month I got pregnant again shocking the pants off me!We decided to keep it,I was 35 at the time!I had a period 3 weeks earlier,a normal one,so when he told me I was 6/half weeks along I just said no!
He sent me for an ultrasound,I saw the heart beating,everything was fine!
2 weeks later I lost it!
I have made my husband have a vascectomy as they told me it was a better option than re-doing the tubes!
I looked it all up on the web,a lot of women get pregnant again after having their tubes done!
BE AWARE GIRLS!!!!!;)
 
Magenta, I know it happens, BUT tubals are done w/ alot more effectiveness now than before. AND what they did w/ mine is lasered them compeltely apart, as opposed to the rubberband method...what kind are they doing for you rhonda?
 
:eek: Well hun after what magenta just said they will be cutting it and then taking away a foot of it and then they will be burning the ends and then they and tie it up for good measure.:D :p
The doctor is looking into it all for me so I don’t know when I will be getting it done yet, knowing our health system of late it could take a while.:(
 
I had a private gyno/obstetrician do both of my c sections,and tubal.He told me he cut more away than he normally would(My husband has 2 from previous marriage as well),then tyed/clamped them!I still got pregnant again!I looked up tubal ligations on the internet and the stats for falling pregnant again were shocking!My husband has to go back for a sperm test to find out if he is still fertile or not.I am hoping his operation was more successful than mine!At 36yrs old,I am too old for a baby now,no patience anymore!!!!:confused:
 
Yikes... at a foot! My best friend had that done also, I told Mike I pushed two babies out, I've done enough you can get snipped... needless to say he still hasn't... wimp. :eek:) Hope you have a fantastic weekend.

why don't men just get the snip? soo much less invasive than getting your tubes tied!

Because they are pansies! I mean HONESTLY, lol. The day after I had my daughter my husband kept complaining and complaining all day about his ankle that hurt..SHUT UP! I just had a child come out of my body AND I had the flu real bad, and he wants to go on about his ankle, lol...thats men for ya!

Besides, to men, "the boys" are practically holy!

oh, i know - its tragic! i remember the midwife asking my kids' dad if HE was alright while i was in the middle of shoving a 9lb person out of my nethers! i think that may have started yet another round of severe cursing from me :D

anyway, i reckon they only get away with being such babies because we let them - very hard to change it though! one of my friends is a tough nut, and after three kids TOLD her husband that it was the snip for him!

can't believe we are still known as the weaker sex lol
 
Okay, Rosered, where are ya?! Either you are at home wallowing (in which case get over here and let's wallow together!) or you have broken down and tried to do some "home medical treatments" because the wait for national health care is too drastic!
Come back soon or we will start a nasty rumor!
