Rebel's Diary

Went to the sporting goods store today. Priced some golf drivers. Some weren't that bad in price but others were down rite stoopid ........ Wow

Just what i need another hobby ;)

Your food always looks yummy, Rebel. I just read back the last week I missed and am now all of the hungry.

Were you thinking of just getting a driver Rebel & just using a driving range or taking up golf? People buy new golf clubs all of the time & get virtually nothing for their old ones. You can buy them second hand very cheaply. Have you been swimming yet or is it still too cold?

Just thinking about a driver just to mess around at the driving range. Im not ready for all the walking involved in a game of golf. The store had single drivers that started about 40.00. Normally they were made by wilson and other low end companies. They they had one brand and it was like 300.00-400.00 just for the driver.
It's still a little cool for swimming. We have been running about 75F. I have a trip to the beach as soon as the water heats up abit. My pool i will start cleaning it out in the next few days.

Just driving would be lots of fun. I have never been to a driving range. Our Summer is almost over & I haven't been swimming once. I'll make sure I get a swim in soon!

Consistently very low on the calories but also consistently eating lovely stuff and adding more activity to your days, which is pretty awesome!

Impressive weight loss man. If I didn't know better, I would warn you that you are going too quickly, but I think your deficits are decent (I estimate about 1500 calories on average, right?) and you seem to be eating enough most of the days.

I would expect your weight loss rate to go down, I would be surprised if you would be able to do another 60+ lbs in the next two months. Not sure if that is desirable either. Personally, I am at max 1 kg per week (about 2.5 lbs), so that's 10 lbs per month, or 20 in two months. So, I lose at a third of your rate, and I already worry that it's going a bit quick. But I have read in many articles that it's fine if weight loss is quicker when you start out heavier.

Just sharing my thoughts, not telling you what to do. I am an expert at my life, not yours! ;)

Well done on the continuing weight loss Rebel. Even when you are not hungry could you just eat a mini healthy meal, like a bowl of vegetable soup or a small salad or some yoghurt & fruit? I would love to see some more vegetables in your diet xo

Yea the weight loss will slow as my BMR creeps toward a more normal level.
I try to hit 1500ish cals but some days it doesn't work out. Numbers can get stoopid low. Those days im just not hungry. I just kinda go day by day :)

Remember that you can subconsciously train your body to ignore/no longer feel hunger signals and it´s not helpful in the long run. Which is why I love Cate´s idea. Make big batch of good soup, portion it out and freeze it and you´re set for meh days!
