Rebel's Diary

About the water thing: people here will dilute any kind of juice with 50% water (fizzy or otherwise), maybe that could help you get used to less strongly flavored/sugary drinks? I´m not a juice drinker personally but when I can´t avoid it it makes me awfully thirsty, possibly because of the sugar content. Same with (black or green) tea.
I dont drink sugary drinks at all anymore. The only sugar i get would b whats in the peanut butter and natural sugars in fruit.
Think i just need to buy a good water purifier.

Even better

You can have either, calorie-wise. Maybe finding low-GI versions online and making them at home would be an interesting project? Pretty sure you can come up with something scrumptious that would hit the spot, even if it's not exactly what you used to have.

As well as running around today i went to c my therapist. She sees children as well as adults so i sat playing with toys as we talked. It went pretty well.

:D Sounds like a great way to stay relaxed during therapy. Also: Good job managing your calories on a road day.
It really does help. Kinda takes your mind out of the therapist office. (Mental note: never play dominoes with a therapist for money)
On the road was tough. The burrito not the best pption available. The bbq chicken i just wanted it sooo bad. Overall it was a fair day but i know i can do much better.

Not every day has to be (or can be) the Best Day Ever. That´s ok. You had things you really wanted to have and you fit them into your daily calories. That´s some major winning on a road day.

Its 3am and cant sleep. I've been going through the family recipes so i can try and healthy them up a bit. My grandmothers german recipes..... Not much i can do. :(

:D Don´t I know it! The only way I´ve found so far is to have a small portion of the Hellfood (to either be polite or enjoy it) and add a large, low-cal portion of veggies/salad/soup.

Nasty in a good way or in a bad way? Remember there are no sinful foods, only things that aren´t helpful if eaten regularly or in large amounts. Better make this journey enjoyable or there´s no way you´ll make it to the end. Which is to say: I hoped that diet coke tasted the way you wanted it to.

Today has been a weird craving day. I just wanted tons of protein i guess because meat is the only thing that sounded good.
I did manage to drink a v8 juice so i did atleast get some veggies. Veggies slurried up in a can....... Not sure if that counts ;)

Not enjoying the fake taste after craving it sounds like a win to me!

Hm... it would if you´d just made it yourself from fresh and hadn´t filtered it. But then it would have been more of a smoothie, I guess. Still: it probably gets you some decent electrolytes/minerals. Did the meat kill your cravings? Craving meat sounds a hell of a lot better than craving chocolate.
