Raising The Bar

Another early morning session today, I've forgotten most of my lifts but I did go up to 330lbs for my squats which was pretty cool.

I stuck to the ME push schedule but supplimented with some other pushing movements in the 10 rep range. I forgot calf raises though :(

I'm finding the early morning routine very tiring

It's shamless plug time; my brother-in-law is a school kid and is interested in being a writer in the future

He's just had a couple of short stories/articles put up on a website and if enough people click 'I like it' then he gets paid for it so can you all go on and say you like it even if you don't :)

I was thinking about making an interview thread where I quiz members on the history in fitness and motivations in life. Anyone else think this could be a good idea?

It was so tough today, apparently the more weight I gain the more I snoore and last night it was terrible. My girlfriend woke me up about 4 times telling me to shut up so come 5.30 I felt like death.

I somehow managed to make it into the gym but I'm going to have to go on a bit of a diet next week. That will tie in with my new training plan. I think I should get decent results as I'm pretty strong now but I have way too much fat covering it

The plan is to eat super clean until I'm in the low teen's for BF% and then bulk up again but keeping the clean diet

Difficult to tell because I split them up throughout the session but I did quite a few sets of 2 @ BW. I'm still rubbish at these but I'll get better once I've cut fat.

Why am i so weak at benching :(

You say yourself, that you suck at benching C, but the thing is:

I can only just do 12 @ 135 never mind 154! and doing 11 @ 176, i can prob manage about 3 !!

don't worry about it big tom, it will improve! Are you progressing from week to week on the bench? What does your routine look like, if you want help with it you can post it in the weight training forum and myself and I'm sure others too would take a look at it.

How do you do at DB chest pressing?

Do you think you have a weak link i.e. chest or shoulders lagging?

Doing elevated press up Iso holds really improved my pressing strength, I would never have imagined the impact they would have but Tony told me to do them to increase shoulder stability and they worked a miracle in just a few weeks
