I had a GREAT day today. I passed my driving theory test and then treated myself to some new clothes! Shameless, self-lovin' photos here. I'm just so proud of myself and can't wait to lose some more. Motivated!

You look fabulous Sunflower! Go you. I love the flower print on the jeans and shorts, really nice for summer.

You look fabulous in all the photos - you really are seeing the rewards for your hard work.
28,000 steps is excellent - very well done!
Well done also for getting through your driving theory. You'll be driving soon.

I'm so pleased to see that things are going so well for you.

Thank you all so much (and welcome to the forum Calico!). I was feeling so confident and fabbbbulous. Still feeling good today but have friends coming tonight so food likely to be poor.. I'm going to make a big mezze platter again with salad and chorizo and cheeses and just pick at healthier bits I think!

I dragged Yank to the soup kitchen yesterday as we were short staffed - he really enjoyed it so think he'll come with me each week now which is awesome. It's nice for us to have something like that to do together. I have work all day today and then need to go and see my old lady who I've not visited in ages and then a food shop and then home to get ready for my friends. Busy, busy! Had too much bread yesterday and am now super bloated as well..also not enough veggies or fruit :(

Its great that you are still on a "new figure high" today - I'm sure your friends will be impressed with your achievements. Good luck with sticking to the healthy bits tonight. Whether you manage it or not - be sure to have a good time.

Great calories yesterday despite the wine and curly wurly - but I have to say that I couldn't skip lunch.

Volunteering together does sound like a great idea. Hope all´s well with your little old lady!

That's great that yank went to the soup kitchen with you & enjoyed it. I hope he does want to keep doing it. It sounds like you have a very busy weekend hon- lots of fun! xoxo

Hey lovelies - been a busy weekend with my friends and haven't had a chance to post. Lots of wine, ice creams and eating out but also did 28,000 steps yesterday, ate within my calories today and danced the night away to some awesome funk music at a pub :) The weather here has finally got gorgeous again so we lay on the beach, caught up, had a few drinks, etc. Was just what I needed. Back on the wagon now and powering through to next week!

I've hurt my knee walking so much yesterday (think I have pulled a muscle) and woke up in the night with horrific pains.. thought Yank was going to have to take me to hospital, I could barely catch my breath it was so painful! Managed to sleep and I've got through today with some painkillers but going to take it a little easier on the steps this week as my dad is down next weekend and we have two 20 mile hikes planned on Saturday and Sunday to prepare for walking around the Isle of Wight at the end of this month.. Think rest will sort it!

Right, weigh in time!

Do I see that correctly? You lost a pound even though you were partying with your friends all weekend? Well done, Hana! Hope your knee gets well soon; some light biking can sometimes be helpful.

I have started maintaining a dairy in which I have been writing my daily exercise routine. I am very hopeful now. It will keep me in check with my daily routine and will control how I am going to spend my whole day.

A stone and a half is a brilliant reduction for the year so far.
Amazing walking on Saturday - sorry you hurt your knee though... I hope its getting better.

Thank you everyone :D

Quick post as super tired. Took it easy on the steps today, knee still a bit stiff. Hoping it'll be back to normal tomorrow but not pushing it. Felt really bad today - my aunt lives in Spain (proper Spain, not Benidorm :p) and invited me and Yank out this August. However, flights are like £350 for us both and I really need to get a car/save for our first house so I've said no after initially being quite optimistic about us being able to go. My aunt is pretty disappointed I think.. I feel bad. Seeing her at Easter though so will have some quality time with her then!

Food for today is good - I've been very restrained!

3rd April

Breakfast: skipped, didn't have time this morning
Lunch: vegetable casserole (282)
Dinner: gnocci with brocolli, slim-line gin and tonic (741)
Snacks: strawberries, packet of crisps (147)

Total: 1170
Steps: 9,000

Lol at the Benidorm comment.

£350 is pricy - it's impossible to do everything though, I'm glad you are putting your own plans first hon.
