Have you heard of 21-day fix? Its eating plan is great for portion sizing. You can even get the containers for cheap on amazon lol.

I believe you put fat free milk, light cream cheese, garlic powder and parmesan cheese.

decided to drink gin tonight to avoid my old friend wine

Sounds like you Ain't Misbehavin' with that choice (hyuck hyuck, music jokes)

Sunflower, I LOVE you're humor! Reading through this is like a reminder that it's important to work hard, but to have fun along the way. Really excited you're (back) on here (even though I wasn't here the first time you were), but you seem downright awesome, so I'm looking forward to reading your posts and sharing all the trials and tribulations of this crazy thing called life. Btw you are GORGEOUS in your wedding photos!!!

What a beautiful wedding dress, and what a beautiful couple. We got married in 1975, it was a winter wedding and my dress was a mock Victorian with a bustle. These days I have a built in one...:(

Mowens - Mwahaha, I like that. There was no misbehaving of any sort last night. I'm staying at my grandparents so I'm just avoiding the endless cake they are trying to shove into my face. And drinking all their gin. Lovely gin.

Daisy - Hello lovely :) That's so nice of you. My language is foul so I hope I don't offend anyone. Excited to be on my journey with all you lovely people. The support here has always been fantastic.

Polly - Ohhh a winter wedding! That's so romantic. I had a short 50's dress, although you can't really see from the photo. And bright blue Vivienne Westwood flat pumps! My parents were not impressed!

Your parents weren't the ones getting married. Such cute shoes! And I bet your feet didn't hurt.

LaMaria - the irony was that they gave me terrible blisters and I had to swap to flipflops in the evening!

Just got back from 5000 steps with my Grandad's dog - he's very old so it was slow going! It's my grandparents 60th (diamond) wedding anniversary today so it's just hit midday and the wine has been opened. I'm having a veryyyy small glass to toast with and then I've got some quinoa/wild rice 300 cal things for lunch so won't be too bad. Then we are off for a three course meal and a night in a posh hotel tonight. Not seen my husband since Sunday so looking forward to molesting him in luxury this evening. Excited to get home after this weekend and get back to the gym and healthy eating.

So a bit about me now - I just turned 27 (ohhhh lord, so close to 3o I can feel it) and I just got married!

Congratulations!!!

And, welcome back. I took a big hiatus myself a while back when I disappeared for a long time, but now I'm back (so are some others). Jen and I got married a year ago and if I can offer any advice on health and marriage it would be this...

Don't get comfortable.

I got super comfortable after marrying Jen and it led to me gaining a bunch of weight back. I had that feeling of "Well, I'm married - no sense in trying anymore" for a while and it just ended up with me getting fatter. Plus, Jen and I kind of fed off of each other when we felt like being shitty and eating horrible food. It was easy to fall victim to that comfort but the work it has taken to repair the damage it caused has been grueling. So, don't get comfortable. Help each other out. Don't allow yourself to get to comfortable in your bad habits. That's my advice.

60th wedding anniversary :beating: That's lovely Hana. Happy, happy 60th Hana's GP's!
Molesting your cute husband in luxury? Nice! It's fun having you back here Han, xoxo Cate

Hey Sunflower, glad to see your smiling avatar back! Don't worry so much about 27, you're still a puppy (though when I was that age, I didn't realize it).

Hey everyone - thanks for the advice Chef. We've lived together for 8 years so we are pretty set in our ways anyway but we are both trying to make good choices!

We had a great time at the meal and the hotel - my grandparents booked me and Yank the bridal suite as a surprise so a very good night was had indeeeeeed. Too much wine and food consumed though! We are now in a cottage (with a real fire!) in the Cotswolds. Here are some photos. Will do a proper update later - walked 11,000 steps yesterday and off to a castle today! What a nice surprise. That looks lovely Hana. 11,000 steps is good. Well done. Have fun xoxo

Hello Butterfly - thanks for the lovely welcome :) Not started my healthy eating yet (!) but my exercise is always pretty good - I love my walking and gym. Take care lovely x

Today has been pretty good again - we woke up early and did a hike - I've done 16,000 steps today and I ended on 15,000 yesterday. That's pretty standard for me (how am I not thinnnnn) but I spoilt it by eating an insaneeee afternoon tea at a Manor house today. Look at this shit - seriously, how do I not eat this!!

But, exercise has been on point. AND, I'm home tomorrow! Healthy eating starts tomorrow first thing - need some batteries for my scales and have a healthy veggie shop coming tomorrow evening. We are gonna watch some Halloween films and relax I think. Exercise will be pretty low tomorrow as I will be travelling back from up North and it'll take 2 hours to get back to my parents and then another 2 hours down to Portsmouth. However, if I'm home early enough I'll be going for a beach walk after putting the slow-cooker on!

Hope everyone is having a good day :) Fatty out x

I prefer today's pic Han. :D WOW! I do so want to get a fitness band, but I tried on heaps on Saturday & they were either uncomfortable, too big, too clunky.......I must, must get one though! Would you believe I seriously look at cakes, slices etc & go? :ack2: I can't eat anything with wheat in it & cream makes me feel queasy. It's a good thing :D
16,000 steps- awesome! xoxo

So cool that you get to go on so many hikes!!!! Hiking is seriously the most therapeutic thing in the world. As soon as Friday hits and I'm off work, it's "g'bye crowded city, hellooooo mother nature!" Sounds like you're ready for a successful week :)
