I wish you all the best of luck on this challenge! Its bound to be a fun time!! Remember, There will be a postcard of congrats going out to the biggest looser on each team, as well as one prize going to the biggest overall looser!!
No drop outs this challenge guys!! We're all in it to win it!!

I will also issue a new mini-challenge every week to help keep things spicy!! a winner from each team will be announced for bragging rights! The first week, we'll have enough momentum going, so no mini-challenge this week, but look for it starting next Friday!

So whats up Pumpkin Posse?!?!?!? How'd everyones 1st day go????

I did well, i didn't drink as much water as i wanted or got in my walk, but i did great on the eating part of it, so thats good! i feel like i'm off to a good start...just gotta do better to get in that water and excersize!
 
I wasn't sure if we were allowed to post yet. lol. I did well my first day. I didn't munch on anything at work except for water, and the fiber one bar that I brought with me. And I've been a good girlfriend and told my boyfriend NO to a few things. I went on a mile walk today, and tomorrow I will be going to the gym for an hour with my boyfriend.

I'm excited to reach my goal. I'm excited to see everyone meet their goals! We all deserve this.

First day was really really hectic. Drank a couple of litres of water, didn't munch on anything unhealthy, had a good breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I have a crazy weekend of work, but I'll be good.

Looking forward to the challenge!!
 
My first day was weird... I didn't eat anything at all until 5 pm at night... by then I wasn't hungry, but I ate some Long John's Silver... I on occassion eat some chicken planks... no fries, I bring em home and add some broccoli or whatever... but last night I also went and got a vanilla dish... I still stay belowed my calories... i've been doing this for about 2 months now, and I dont feel deprived like I once did... I just gotta keep moving forward, and this challenge has me really excited, so that WE can blow the competition away... but in reality I want EVERYONE to do great!
 
not sure if my previous sentence... but I dont eat ice cream everyday for the past 2 months... I meant "dieting" haha and calorie counting, and weighing everything.
 
Hey Pumpkin Posse! Looks like everyone is doing well :) I'm doing pretty well myself... crazy busy but I'm staying on track. The only questionable choice I made was A GLASS of wine w/ the boyfriend last night.... only a glass not a bottle. So that's pretty good for me :)

Red wine is good for your heart. So its a good choice!

I didn't take my own advice and I had a few too many beers Saturday night and a few too many snacks last night. This week will be better I swear.
 
I'm doing really well this weekend. I'm avoiding temptations left and right. And its TOUGH, but I keep telling myself it will be worth it. *humph* I am giving myself a couple cheat days in this 6 weeks... My birthday party (October 3rd) and my actual birthday on October 13th. I will still make it though!

We can do this!!

I leave for Austin on friday... I will be tempted! but I know I will be ok... I have given myself sorta a cheat day on saturday... I usually keep it under 1600 calories for the day, but my BMR is at 2501... so I will allow myself to eat 2000 calories on saturday... I average around 1400 so 2k should be plenty. no drinking for me though, ahhh 6th st.
 
Hiya everyone. Looks like everyone is groovy.

I was drinking copious amounts of vodka and wine on Sunday night, so I am not gonna have cheat day for a while.

Been doing good so far though. Not going near the scales until the weigh in day. But been going to regular Bharatnatyam class (it is HARD- was sweating like crazy after my one hour session today).

Tomorrow week two of c25k.
 
Glad everyones having such a good start to the challenge!! I cant' wait for weigh in! I think we have a winning team guys! Lets rock it!
