Oh, chest infection, so sorry to hear that. I hope you are taking lots and lots of fresh vitamin C. You may already know this, but if you are worried about gaining weight having juice, I juice half a lemon and put it in an almost hot cup of water and sprinkle about 3 shakes of salt into the mug. Without the salt it tastes horrid, but with it it's not bad. Or just lemon in ice water is good, too. It really helps me for colds and flu, and the fresh lemon juice is an appetite suppressant. Same with fresh pineapple, which is extremely high in vitamin C. Hope all goes well at the doctors!
I don't like being photographed, even when I was young and skinny I didn't. I now picture the person I love most (my daughter) behind the camera when I have my picture taken, and that seems to help some. I tend to smile too wide, and it looks strained, plus I am not fond of being reminded of how much weight I need to lose, either. My friend talked to me about how being older is actually beautiful in a new way. We get age lines to show how much we've learned and how far we've come. She sees all the changes as badges of becoming experienced and more wise. I try to look at it that way when I look in the mirror, and am actually starting to accept all this old age stuff! I still hate dying my hair, but the rest I am getting used to.
