Petals diary

Did another one yesterday and I’m doing good at keeping moving .
I’m kind of glad autumn is hitting in now and I get some good routines back now school is starting again.
Did some grocery shopping yesterday and all healthy foods .
Have a busy day today with work and then a vet visit later this eve but will try to get my steps and 30 mins exercise complete .

I do notice that although I’m doing my exercise I don’t have the same energy . I’m just about doing it which is good but not with gusto . Hoping that comes back soon as it’s more enjoyable . I’m not sure why that is .
Some good news is I am actually sleeeping really well so I’m sure all will come ok again .
 
Glad you are getting all healthy foods at the grocery store. I love when I only buy healthy things and then there isn't the temptation there to eat junk. My daughter is getting an ear infection, so I am not going to make things with sugar for her or my husband and see if that and the normal ear infection medicine will get rid of it. Then maybe I can wean them off of most sugar. I don't like having it around.

Are you getting enough protein before your workouts? I ate a lot before running at the gym and felt so energized, I think I did a little too much. I've been making a lot of bean soups or things with beans added, like roasted red pepper soup with garbanzos - pretty much soup versions of LaMa's diet!

Marsia in good with protein . Think maybe I was just tired . I did 45 mins last night and gave it lots of energy so that was good.

Going to get organised now and try some soups for the autumn ahead .
 
I am in awe how dedicated you have been to exercising! I just did 3 days last week and will do 4 this coming week, and work in the garden a bunch. I hope you get lots of nice rest, too! Hugs!!
 
Well I have been really busy since . I have been reorganising my kitchen and lounge room and it’s kept me off the Internet . Still have more to do today . I was supposed to go for a hike today but sadly it’s raining a lot right now .

Doing up my shopper list for some soups but I normally do root veg and potato for the kids .
Butternut squash also . But will experiment a bit more now
 
Oh, we love butternut squash soup - it's one of our staples in the winter. Yum! Hope your shopping trip was nice and you brought back fun things to experiment with!
 
Sorry have had visitors and been busy with the house clean up . Also really worried about my friend who is having cancer treatment but I think he only had 9 treatments left out of 30 . Not coping well though but hope it works .

I'm awake early this morning so I'm going to do a short morn work out I think . I need to try get my head back in health zone pretty quick although I'm doing better as lots of my good habits are really sticking now

Hardly anyone copes well after the first couple of treatments. The first usually goes well, so people get their hopes up, then it hits them like a ton of bricks. It´s still the best we´ve got available right now. All the best for your friend.
 
Sorry to hear your friend has to go through all of that, but hopefully it will all be worth it. Great you are doing so well with workouts!!

Not much to report here as I spend all of yesterday at work or in the car driving . No exercise but looking back on month of august I did a really good amount of august so hopefully September will be even better
 
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly! You are doing so fantastic with all the exercise!! And seriously, you do inspire me to do mine, too. Last night I snuck in 30 minutes on the stair stepper right before bed because I thought of you and how you are exercising every day. What was so nice is that it is an easier workout than the tread mill, but it still made me feel great afterward. It goes to show, every little bit of healthy helps!!
