always a day late & a dollar short...but....

SO SORRY TO ALL FOR THE LAG IN MY CHALLENGE THIS WEEK. Not sure how you all want to score this but my challenge is to...

STRETCH FOR 10 MIN BEFORE AND AFTER WORK OUTS or every day this week...rest days included for just 20 minutes of strectching...I'd like for everyone to try to do this outside in the fresh air, but that's if you can. I think we did a challenge where we only stretched for 15 minutes...so I figure before and after would really benefit the workout.

Again, I apologize to ALL for the inconvenience. Maybe we not count a bonus point for Saturday to everyone? Thoughts??

Sunday (1) + (1) + (1) = (3)----Jillian Michaels total body shred w/ 10lbs weights-level 3....WHOA! :eek: Hip Hop Abs video @ 11:00pm....20 min stretching....
Monday (1) + (1) + (1) = (3)---DAMN JILLIAN 12:30am :eek: workout...!!! 10lbs weights & stretching after/before-2 videos
Tuesday (1) + (1) + (1) = (3)---Gym with Alane83---we WORKED it...w/ Alex too! Interval run treadmill and 1 hour of weights & stretching
Wednesday (1) + (1) +(1) = (3)--;)---thanks to BIG MAC, I didn't cop out...ALMOST took a REST THERE!!! 35 min. brisk walk w/ dog & bf, 1:00am :eek: exercise-Jillian video-ANOTHER ONE-back side--& 20 min Yoga Video!-stretching!
Thursday (1) + (0) + (1) = (1)---long brisk walk with the DOGGO!!! SORRRE STILL!!! Stretching!
Friday (1) + () + (1) = (2)---Lazy and Craving Sugar.....!!! I think it's the lack of ALCOHOL!!!---long walk and stretching!

--OH MAN!!!....I'm getting scarred :rant:...I really want some results...I have to put in the work...this week....cause I WANT CHANGE NOW!!! :piggy:

Hi Playmates...Update I'm posting in team threads!

ok so after figuring out the details w/ my travel dept...they actually suggested going to the MGM website and book direct they have special offers...so i checked it and it's not bad. "No Regrets" is the name of the special offer (scroll down to bottom right corner and click "No Regrets"...search our dates and it'll show current rates) and it's a decent price...(say you're only having 2 guests/room so it's cheaper) it's $200/friday night & $264/saturday + tax = $505.76 divided among 4 ppl = $126.44 per person for both nights. **if you're arriving thursday the price is only $104!

the only down side is that they require a deposit upfront and it's non-refundable. this is probably the best deal we could get on the strip, we just can't have anyone back out or the deposit is lost point blank. but no one's backing out now...we're all in baby!!! but the plus is that we can all separately book/reserve our rooms since the deposit is upfront so that not one person places all the rooms under their CC. so at least the cost is spread out between those who are actually staying in that room. don't want someone's CC responsible for all the rooms...b/c we're gonna be getting CCCRAAAZYYYY UP IN HERE UP IN HERE!

also, just want to clarify that i'll be arriving Friday 11/7 and leaving Sunday 11/9 which are the dates of the challenge. i was reading back and saw a post for room/arrival info and i'm down for "flying in thursday". I'm not sure if I can take entire day off...probably will drive up with Alta if she leaves in the morning...I need to be in the office for a couple hours...and just bounce w/ Alta. Anyway, we'll get there for Friday check-in so we might need to rearrange the rooms for those who are arriving Thursday and the rest arriving Friday....just a suggestion??

Every day that you take Vitamins with at least 2 meals daily....give yourself a POINT!!!! TAKE THEM VITAMINS!!! Any combo.....of vitamins....just tell us a quick overview once of the kind you are taking......!!!! Alrighty LET'S make it a GOOD WEEK and FEEL GOOD AND STRONG!!!!:drool5:

Wow! Look at you with all the cardio girl! Sheesh! Glad to see ya back in full force!

On the days you are doing 3 hours of volleyball for instance, I would think you could count both 1 point for cardio, and 1 for weights, since you are using all those muscles in your legs, core, back, arms, etc....

Girls, I've booked my flights to Vegas. I booked 2 incoming flights since I don't know when I can leave work on Friday. So either I'll arrive at 11pm on Friday night or 8am Saturday morning. Both flights are booked and ready to hop on. I plan on flying home Monday afternoon. Tri is doing his first Ironman on Sunday so I will stay an extra day to support him.

Now it's time to finalize the hotel!! OOUUU!!
 
I'm sorry to do this to you guys but at this point I feel like I've dragged you guys down as a team. I'm not bouncing back as quickly as I thought I would or would like to. At this point I think it may be best to drop out of the competition. There's a lot going on with me personally and I know we all have our busy lives but I'm in bit of an extreme place right now. You guys deserve someone who is 100% on board and I just can't be right now. I know I'll be sad when November rolls around but I'm trying to do what's best for me and not totally selfish by dragging you guys down. Good luck everyone.

that stinks that you cant go Erika.. We are going to miss you! Even if you cant continue on with the challenge we hope that you will still join us there as you were still such a big help to us..i havebeen struggling myself trying to post points with all that I have going on and no its not fair to the team.. but i think we are not in it for the prize so i have accepted that i am not on my game but still look forward to meeting some new friends and losing weight in my own time.. We are gonna miss you and i hope you change your mind!

Basically, I think that the Tropicana or Excalibur look Good...and affordable for people.....I think we should book soon....but I dunno......

Sorry to hear that Erika. If you want to take a week or two off and then rejoin the competition I'm sure that would work. We'd really love to have you with us in Vegas :) If your heart is not in it anymore I understand.

Alta, I'm thinking Exalibur looks purrtty good. Let me do some further research tonight and I'll update my vote tomorrow.
