Challenge Announcement! (Input requested)
I've been thinking about this for a while, and other people have also mentioned it to me.
I think it would be a more enjoyable and friendlier challenge if we drop the max points, to take some of the stress out of this competition--both emotionally and physically. Some of the feedback I'm getting is that its just not healthy to work out every single day, without taking breaks to let your body heal.
You can work out as much as you want though, I don't want to discourage those who prefer to exercise more.
What does everyone else think about it?
Here is what I'm thinking:
5 points max per week for Cardio (1 pt for each half hour)
5 points max per week for Weights/Resistance (1 pt for each half hour)
7 points max per week for Weekly Bonus (1pt per day)
17 points max per person per week.
For people who want to get ahead of the game, points from weight loss will really make the difference.
That is what this competition is all about though, right? Losing some pounds (and getting healthy).
I wanted to ask the teams what they thought before I changed it. If the majority agrees, then we can make this effective starting this week (1st week of month 2). Hopefully it will be ok with everyone.
Most people are not working out 7 days a week anyhow, so I'm hoping that this will be ok.
