Welcome! It's never too late to join this challenge. I think you will see good progress just by keeping up with the suggested workouts on the 100 push-up site.

Ok, so all this time, I thought they meant, do as many as you could at one time, I probably could have been doing more even after I had collapsed to the ground...hehe. Even so, I did my test for week 3 and could only squeak out 13; though, 16 is suggested to move on. I figure now, I'm going to switch to the modified ("girl") push-ups and redo the test for week 3 tomorrow. I don't want to have super arm muscles anyway. :9

I see some progress, guys! Keep it up!
 
Beckie, I'm glad I read your post, I would've just moved on to week 3! I need to go see how many I can do w/o stopping, but it will be on the knees as that's how I've been doing them (except for the initial test.)

Just finished 25 straight through (on my knees.) I probably could've done one more, but my arms were really shaking the last 2. I can tell I'm getting stronger.

Off to workout!
 
I finished my week 1 and my max at the end was 15!! I'm so excited. I went from barely doing 3 to doing 15 full body push ups (and I was also shaking by my last two)! I'm so glad I decided to join this challenge.
 
id join, but im fully capable now of hitting 100 pushups in one sitting now.. but b4 i woulda never. you all can do it!! keep working hard!!!!!
 
I won't be able to do any push-ups for a couple days or maybe even for the whole week. I'm getting ready to go get my wisdom teeth pulled! Ahhh! Wish me luck! I hope everyone has a great week....do some extra push-ups for me!!!

That's pretty cool.

If you go to the website it does give some tips if you're already doing 100 - like trying them on your knuckles, etc.

Awe man, that sucks. I do hope it all goes well. Do everything exactly the way the doc tells ya. I ended up having a dry socket when I had mine done. I did think I followed all of the rules too. But, I don't know, it doesn't take much it seems.

I'll do a few extra for you! :)

My original intent for this challenge was to include mini-challenges in between the push-up days. However, I'm finding that I just don't have enough time to get in here and make-up challenges.

Sorry....

I would encourage you to do push-ups to the max so that your arms are shaking and you can't do anymore when you get to the last one!

It's wonderful to hear about everyone's progress.

I slacked off for a bit *pout*, now I'm back. I can't make up my mind if I wanna start over or try to play catch up, especially since I'm thinking about switching to "Lady" Push-ups.

I think I wanna start over. Sweatpea, I hope you don't mind if I steal...uh I mean borrow your format and tuck it under my diary to start over lol.

How is everyone else doing?

That's fine.

I actually didn't have a great week for push-ups, I only did them 2 days this past week.
 
How's everyone doing?

I know the past week was a very busy one for me so I didn't have time to get in my push-ups.

I did do a maximum of 51 last night though.
 
Hi there, I'm good. Didn't realize how much I sucked at push-ups until I tried some last night. I got around 50 done by taking breaks between every 10.
 
Hey everyone!

How is it going? I'm totally sucking at the push-ups this week. So far I've gotten in a big fat zero!

I think I'm going to have to do week 3 over - or squeeze it all in by Sunday! LOL
