Olga's diary

Hey Olga, sounds like you are doing well. I also eat a lot of fish and seafood. I prefer it to mammal meat, but can't really get fresh things here in the Utah desert... Being more active is also good, happy to hear it.

Keep on posting, I enjoy your posts and seeing you doing well makes me happy. But post even if you are not, I think it helps. It has helped me.

My weight is 88 kg 800 grams right now.
Minus 500 grams.
I keep moving forward.

I am actively losing weight and my hormonal levels are up and down, that's why I am suffering from acne, boils, pimples, skin allergies, cold sore and so on. I have never had anything like that before. How is it possible to get rid of them??? I have tried out everything: special vinegar for skin cleansing, seafood every day (caviar, seaweed, krill meat, fish - fried, smoked, pickled and salted fish), mineral water, juice every single day, but nothing helps, nothing :=(

I noticed that my skin problems are the problems which are better to ignore than to focus on. The more time and energy I dedicated to my acne, the worse my skin became. As soon as I started ignoring my skin problems completely, the skin has become much better. It is something like "Oh my God, tomorrow I am going to record a video clip but I look horrible! What should I do?" OR "Well, tomorrow I am going to record a video clip but the video will be splendid just because I am a cool and amazing person, no matter how many pimples I have". :=)

Hey Olga, always good to hear from you. Don't have any magic cure for acne etc, I used to have acne my cure was just getting older. My body started making less oil or something I guess. Maybe others will have better ideas.

I doubt you look horrible, or even bad, I am sure the skin problems are more noticeable to you than others. Try not to let it stop you from recording the video, or anything else in life. That would be worse than the problem. We are all human with our imperfections, just can't let them slow us down. Best of luck with it all!

86 kg 400 grams.

Combining of "Do what you love and Love what you do" & "Healing through Humor" approaches certainly are working better than any forceful diets and exercising.

.... Maybe others will have better ideas....

no idea how to control it, but i'm guessing there are better things than Clearasil around these days. aren't there even some drugs available?

what i can add... i was 6' 165lbs through college. right around HS graduation, it started becoming less of a concern, though i usually just had a random pimple or two at the most from maybe 8th grade through HS .... typically at the worst times. chocolates/ sweets were always said to be a cause im my days, but i doubt if anyone had answers 50 years ago. my sister had similar, my brother's was a little worse. all i'm really trying to get at, at least in my family it was definitely not weight related none of us were overweight as kids.

...3) I eat too much sweets these days... :-(
please do yourself a favor and listen to this TED Talk.

Sugar -- the elephant in the kitchen: Robert Lustig at TEDxBermuda 2013

the biggest positive change you can make in any diet is getting your sugar intake under control. i pretty much maintain my weight these days, but the #1 thing i have done from the start is limit my sugar. one thing i see you mention is fruit juice. fruit juice without the fiber of the whole fruit will be disastrous to any weight loss regime. if i have a high carb day... it happens... it takes at least a week to cancel out that glitch. it bothers me when someone says... "i only cheat once a week".... welcome to making zero progress.

ok, this is not to say you cannot make things up through exercise, but i have resolved long ago that i don't want to count on exercise for anything. you can go nuts exercising for a month, maybe two, but it is not a change you can count on forever.

anyway... just my 2 cents. i saw a line from your text that referred to people encouraging you to eat more. the overavailability of food is the bane of our overweight society. saying no... making it though a hunger episode, is not easy, but what addiction is? everyone will tell you drugs are bad, smoking (tobacco) is bad, but unfortunately not many people consider how damaging it is to eat uncontrollably. your digestive system was not made to work continually from the moment you rise in the morning until the time you sleep again.

my apology if this seems too frank.

Hey Olga, glad you had that break through! Down 2+ kg is impressive!

I continue to appreciate your "Healing through Humor" approach, it makes so much sense.

87 kg 400 gr

A little bit regressive, but I think there will be a huge progress by the 5 of December (I prognose 3 kilos loss, but cannot guarantee because of VUCA: Volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity).

I believe I need to concentrate more on my business things and make a product list of food intake for each day. :Angel_anim::hurray::cool:

84 kg 200 gr!!!

It is amazing!!!

My secret is only: Love what you Do and Do what you Love + Healing through Humor.

I don't not do any exercises and eat every day everything I like!!

84 kg 900 gr.
I have not had enough physical activities for days.
I have started to walk a lot today.
I am going to proceed and drink a lot of sweet tea with lemon.:)

I keep walking. Everything is better than I thought. It has turned out that I dislike huge portions of food and small ones are enough for me. :)
