Olga's diary

There is lots of body-weight exercises you can do at home, do you have any injuries or health conditions before I make any suggestions ?
Not at all, I just need something like crunch exercises, they are my favourite and I believe the most effective for me (my belly fat badly needs some practice).

Ayran is delicious but if what you´re drinking really IS like ayran you may not want to drink 1-2 liters a day of it as the versions we get here have almost as many calories as regular soda. Starting out with a 1 mile walk a day sounds great to me; then maybe after a couple of weeks when it no longer feels as challenging you can slowly start adding a little more distance?

Hello, guys!
I am here again and now I have come with a new method of losing way: Healing Through Humor.
The secret is simple: every time when somebody spoils my mood, I don’t try to comfort myself with stress eating but read a lot of hilarious stories. I subscribed to one of online book platforms and I read hilarious stories about everything in the world over there every day. Besides, every day I watch lots of hilarious videos on Youtube.
I reduced my meals and now about ½ of my portions is enough to be full.

Hello there, guys! It certainly works.
One more change: I need to remove energy drinks from my meals.
It turned out that energy drinks are bad for my liver.
Looking for new products and drinks which are healthy and energizing enough. Probably, some good products I know: orange juice, black coffee without sugar and creams, aromatic teas: green, herbal and fruit ones; pomegranate juice, coconut milk, oatmeal milk, rice milk, almond milk, hot chocolate, aerated white chocolate, limes and lemons, oranges, kiwi, blueberry, cod fillet, calamari, shrimps, something else??
What's more, I have to reduce the amount of milk in my meals as much as possible.
I absolutely cannot tolerate milk. I may like cottage cheese, cultured yoghurt or some cheese (but not a lot, just some quantity to be full and lively).
Lots of milk and cream appeared to be bad for my vocal cords. Once (about 2 months ago) after I ate and drank lots of milk products I felt soooo bad, my vocal cords were sooo swollen that I nearly choked to death (cold milk is almost deadly dangerous if you drink that on a scorching sunny day).
Probably, my vocal cords just cannot put up with dairy casein. :=)

Hello there, guys!
I lost about 4 kg 600 gr for several weeks.
Now my weight is 91 kg 400 gr.
I don't actually dedicate myself only to humor practice (which is really healing) but I just calibrate the content that I watch, read, listen and respond.
I block everything which is nasty, unpleasant, not interesting or not suitable for me. I do not participate in any public discussions which are created for brainwashing, quarreling, cat fights or trolling or if I see that the moderators and the creators of chat rooms and public conferences have some hidden agenda different from mine . I generously like all the posts, videos, articles and pieces of news which I am really happy to see. I try to avoid social networks which do not really follow my settings and preferences. I try not to give any pieces of advice when I do not know the details or when I really break the privacy of that person. I enjoy the habit of being careful and accurate with others' private lives.
When I complain to any company or have to leave a negative feedback, I always write valuable, sound and practical reviews without any emotional flavors and as soon as problems are solved, I generously post positive reviews and responses.
I always try to follow these rules: to be sound, practical, rational, logical, and write and speak as fewer words as possible. It means: be precise, be short, be conscious. As for meals and food: I don't really remember when I was grazing or snacking, or when I was overeating. I usually drink a lot and eat everything what I want or have in my flat. I don't count any calories or avoid any food. Well, the only thing which I avoid now is probably only lard oil. And I have chosen an energy drink which is not pretty harmful.
Thank you, guys, for your kind support. I really appreciate it!

Hey Olga, good to see you back, and congratulations on the 4 kg loss! That's great, good for you!

You sound like a very rational and good lady, thanks for telling us about yourself. I also like very much that you are dedicated to humor practice! You must be a lot of fun to be around.

Other than the energy drink what does your diet consist of? No lard oil is a good idea.

Hope to see you posting more often!

Hello there,
I eat everything: vegetables, fruit, dairy, seafood, meat. Soups, porridge, mash, sausages, etc. I almost do not restrict myself. Just my portions became smaller. But I do not force myself to eat less, I feel full faster and I do not need huge meals anymore. :=)

Hi, Olga. I agree that there is already too much nastiness & negativity in the world & I try to avoid it too. Well done on losing over 4 kg in a few weeks, without too many restrictions :)

I like that approach, very sustainable in the long run.

Nice

-- How much weight do you want to lose?
45 kg.

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?
1 year.

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
Veganism+ exercises (stepping exercises, exercises for arms: light dumbbells, posture improving exercises, sit-ups, all in all about 20 minutes every day).

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?
My friends.

-- How realistic is your goal?
I think it is realistic because it is not hard to lose 3-5 kg a month keeping to the diet and exercises, the main thing is consistency.

-- When will you start?
I have already started (from the 3o of January)

  1. What is your current height and weight? Height is 160 cm, weight is 90 kg.
  2. If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be? I think 47-48 kg.
  3. At what weight would you like to be at four months from now? 70-75 kg.
  4. Why do you want to lose weight? I want to lose weight because it is healthy; and because my friends will be surprised and glad to see a new me, and because for slim girls there are a huge choice of fancy fashionable clothes which I cannot find for my weight category.
  5. Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? If so, when is that event? Nope, actually. But the second year starts at the university in September 2018 (I am doing my Master's right now), and it would be good to appear with a perfect body shape in September.
  6. What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals? My junk food cravings, pickles and sweets, or too much stress.
  7. Why do you think that you now have a weight problem? I think I am overweight because it is hard for me to walk a lot and my BMI is not ideal.
  8. What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight? Now I have different views on life.
  9. Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight? I lost weight in the past, but it was harmful for my health, I won't repeat that again.
  10. Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back? My scales are not lying to me.
  11. What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work? Because it is harmful.
  12. Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time? Yes, and I am already doing that.
  13. Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook? I rarely cook, I prefer just veggies and fruit.
  14. How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go? Quite seldom, it is a lack of vegan restaurants over here.
  15. What are your three favorite foods? Kumquats, cherry tomatos, clementines.
  16. What are your three favorite restaurants? Omg. They are fastfood restaurants like Subway. I don't go there now. :)
  17. What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food? Eat raw fruit and veggies, drink lots of mineral water, avoid chocolate. Or you mean something else?
  18. If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different? I would visit all my friends, neighbours, and acquaintances; I would buy lots of fashionable clothes, I would walk a lot and go out as often as possible for everybody to see me and not to recognise a new me.
  19. Do you eat when you are not hungry? Sometimes.
  20. Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)? Yes.
  21. Do you hide your food or eat in secret? Never.
  22. Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed? Yes.
  23. Do you eat as a reward? Yes.
  24. Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer? Yes.
  25. What do you normally eat for a meal? Now it is only veggies and fruit, before it was lots of pasta with ketchup, a fizzy drink and a chocolate candy.
  26. What type of snacks do you eat? Now it is a banana, before -- some crisps.
  27. In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing? Sit-ups, arms exercises, exercises for my back.
  28. Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home? At home.
  29. What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise? Sit-ups, arms exercises, exercises for my back.
  30. What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals? I hope to lose at least 600 grams a week.
  31. Do you have rewards for certain goals? Yes, I would buy my favorite types of berries and fruit.

Hello there, dear guys!
I have been watching the stories of luxury brands creating, their development and building up promising luxury startups.
I watched several biopics about successful business ladies who liked to take risks, invent some rare, exquisite, precious, luxurious products. Some fragrances like unrepeatable perfumes.
Besides I listened to the radio channels about luxurious restaurants, unique recipes, expensive and rare foods, haute cuisines.
I think the dishes which we cook and eat should have unrepeatable tastes as well. Something like a small adventure or a fantastic plot of a book.
A gastronomic adventure, to be precise. I started to cook having in mind the same values: original, unrepeatable, unique tastes, unusual mixtures, everything which you cannot imagine to combine (but the ingredients must be healthy, natural and simple). Finally, I got really interesting dishes, for instance: fried eggs with a spoon of honey, pieces of fresh lemon, black pepper berries, myrtle pepper berries, seasalt pellets, crushed granulated coffee and fresh apple slices. The mixture is funny, but I really liked that, it reminded me some lily of the valley fragrance from Dior.
Today I have walked for almost 7 miles. I have not walked such a great distance for quite a long time. The weather has been amazing -- warm, sunny, a little bit hot from times to times, but yet it is perfect to walk.
Thank you for your kind and sincere support, guys, I am really grateful to you. I keep moving forward thanks to you!

Hello there, dear guys!
Now my weight is 89 kilos 600 grams.
I have lost 1 kilo 800 grams.
Now my old blouses suit me.
You know, I want to emphasize how it is important to be able to say a firm "No!" when our girlfriends, boyfriends, classmates, groupmates, colleagues, moms and dads, sisters and brothers try to encourage us to eat more. They all have been used to thinking that we cannot do without a double portion of peanut butter or a double big mac or another portion of soup, porridge or sandwich. We need to be brave enough to refuse and be firm in our refusal policy. ;=) Our nearest and dearest believe that we can die without extra portion of sausages and we need to prove them that we can be full and pretty satisfied with a single plate of soup or porridge. ;=) And we need to be brave enough to experiment and try out new dishes, new cuisines, new mixtures and combinations, and when our new-born way of cooking turns out to be imperfect, just to be happy that another spare portion of calories won't spoil our mood!
But the most important thing in happy losing weight -- is to do what you love and love what you do. Do not waste your time on thinking and rethinking about crunchilicious, tongue breakers, something finger-licking good yammy, but to find a thing which is the most necessary right now: a helping hand to your parents, relatives, friends or colleagues, some hobbies or jobs, some passions or creative ideas! Just do what you like and like what you do! There are a great number of things apart from snacks and meals! ;=)

Well done, Olga. Finding something else enjoyable to focus on, other than food is especially important as we move towards our goal weight.

Congratulations on another almost 2 kilos lost! Doing so while enjoying yourself as well sounds like the epitome of sustainability.

My weight is 89 kilos 300 grams right now.
For the past 3 weeks I suffered from annoying dust and sweetener allergy, cold sore and excessive chicken protein intake.
I had had some problems with my business which are solved right now.
I am trying to replace meat protein with fish protein and eat more veggies and fruit. I try to eat seafood (fish, caviar, seaweed) every day.
I have reduced the intake of sweet drinks: fizzy drinks, juices, teas, coffee and energy drinks.
Instead of sweet drinks I drink cold sparkling mineral water and smoothies without sugar.
I try to eat some cereal and porridge without milk.
From time to time I eat fried eggs with fruit and vegetables or poached eggs.
I cannot stand sunflower oil, cow milk and cow creams and try to avoid them.
My lifestyle has become much more active than it was, but I don't feel any weight changes yet.
Thank you very much, guys, for your kind, sincere support, positive comments, welcoming attitude and encouraging me to proceed.
Every single comment matters.
See you soon, guys!
I will be online later. ;=)

I think the changes to your lifestyle & diet should see health improvements and some weight loss. Keep up the good work :)
