Why are you looking to join? Sounds like fun, sounds motivating and I could learn from someone who is experienced.
What can you contribute? My knowledge learned from my course with ISSA, the knowledge I've accumulated over the years by reading mags, forums and whatnot. Motivation...and a swift kick in the arse to someone who does not give their 120%.
What do you hope to receive? Motivation, a swift kick in the ass for not giving my 120%, knowledge and experience.

We need to give this thread some time. People have varying work hours and some limited time. If you look at the other thread, a lot were enthusiastic about joining. Some are rather new members that dont post much.

Program ya saaaay. I go mostly on feel and emotion. Taking what I can get when I feel good and knowing when rest is needed. I usually have a general outline so I know what it is that I am not going to follow very well at all. :D

Short term goal (within 3 months): Get more focused on general strength training and GPP.
Long term goal (within 6 months): Well. At the end of 3 months I will be done with the competitive season and will be going into a more serious strength training phase. So I guess get the 'ol squat into the mid 700's and increase my explosive power. (while focusing on training my middle more)
Why are you looking to join? Should be fun and maybe my partner and I will dominate this thing. :)
What can you contribute? 19 years of training and coaching experience.
What do you hope to receive? Thoughts and ideas from someone outside my regular circle of influence.

I would really like to lose weight. In terms of how much exactly, getting down to around 84 but maintaining muscle is my goal. I also want to improve my press/push ups from my current 8 rep limit per set to around 14 ish.
Long term goal:
My long term goal is to lose weight up til MY ideal weight which is 80Kg. Along with gaining Muscle definition. To look better all round :)
Why are you looking to join?
To essentially gain the motivation to go that little bit extra. Which i don't seem to have right now...
What can you contribute?

Why are you looking to join? Mutual motivation. It's easier to train with a work out buddy - you just can't leave each other down.
What can you contribute? Am an eating disorder clinician, which could be useful to someone. If not, I am a good motivator - known as the Irish Dynamo at work, which I think might be good thing...
What do you hope to receive? No more than I give

Think you guys will find that as the roster fills up (by the deadline, presumably), and all the information is in, you may or may not have decided on a few individuals you may be able to work well with.

Then you start making bids. For example, I might say, "I bid -$800 for Tom." Meaning he would have to pay me $800 to draft him. :p Okay, so there's not gonna be any bidding. But whoever does end up with Tom should be compensated somehow. ;)

If people match themselves, what do the 'draftees' like me and Chillen do?

Well you and Chilldawg chose to be draftERs. Does anyone know how an actual pro team draft works?

Heres how this will work (expanded on from first post). Lets say we have 3 draftEEs and 3 draftERs. The draftERs will be given an order to draft in. So lets say we have Jaim, Chillen, and Georgen as draftERs. Then we have Wojo, Focus, and BigTom as draftEEs.

Pick 1 - Jaim
She debates which of the draftEEs she wants to be partnered with based on stats posted or whatever else. She then chooses Wojo.

Pick 2 - Chillen
Now that Jaim has picked, Chillen is next up. He ponders between Focus and BigTom. He then chooses Focus.

Pick 3 - Georgen
Now G is on the clock. He only has 1 option (and a poor 1 lol) so he chooses to leave the site. j/k He chooses BigTom.

So on and so forth. The order will be randomly determined and each draftER will get to choose who they want to be partnered with from the pool of draftEEs.

Make more sense?

Yeah it will work like the NFL draft. I chose an undisclosed amount of money and a player to be named later.

What can you contribute? Experience/knowledge with low carb diets, plenty of knowledge from reading various fitness articles, my personal experience, and hopefully motivation, humor, and fun.
What do you hope to receive? Motivation from fellow forum members, comradery, fun, a better body.
