Legs are feeling good today. No running is planned but will be doing some upper body and some light leg lifts to keeps things going.
 
Did some bodyweight lunges w/twist, leg extensions, and leg curls last night along with BP, Pull-ups, Inc Bench and a 2 supersets of overhand and regular curls. definitely did not eat enough yesterday. had no strength at all.
 
3 x 1 mile repeats today.

Warmed up 1 mile at 12 min/mi then 1 mile on at 8 min/mi, .25 mile off at fast walk (4.5 MPH), 1 mile on at 8 min/mi, .25 mi fast walk at 4.5 mph and finally .75 miles at 8 min/mi and .25 mile at 7:30 min/mi. .5 mile warm down. stretch.
 
Couldn't do the 5. legs just were not into it after a few harder days. Managed 4 miles and called it. icing now. shins are sore.

Managed 11 today. I suspect I was 1) not hydrated enough and 2) didn't eat enough at breakfast. Beautiful day here and the temps made it into the low 50's (bit higher than the high of 41 they set) so I was over dressed.
 
Are you still on the Warrior like diet? Was that you or someone else? I thought it was you. If so, ?I would like to know how you are doing on it. :)
 
3 miles yesterday. Was supposed to do 6. Was under the weather and still am under the weather today. Congested and feel like my head is a balloon.

This damn weather needs to stop with the 50's one day, 20's the next bullcrap.
 
Thats so annoying. I have injuries like that too. they come and go and come and go for no apparent reason one way or another. I'm in the middle of the bad knees again after being pain free for 2 months :( Hope you find something out soon

I'm not even that old but it seems my body thinks I am in my 30s with these aching pains and nagging injuries. Had to ice both my achilles last night from the pain.

I honestly do not know how to stretch anymore than I am. I'm running out of ideas for calf stretches. lol
 
ran 7.6 today in about 1:10. Was doing well until my right achilles starting to hurt. I think its just further calf issues and that my calf tightened up after 6.5 miles and started to pull on it thus the pain. icing it and stretching. might do some erg workouts this week inplace of running to keep the fitness up but give the legs a rest from running as they are getting pretty beat up.
 
What kind of running volume are you putting in regularly?

haven't even broken 30 miles per week yet. Last week was supposed to be 29 miles total, with 6 Tuesday, 5 Wed, 6 Thur, 5 Sat, 7 Sunday. So last weeks actual volume was 24 miles since I had an all day commitment on Saturday.

What's bothering me more is that I am only 26 and I feel that my body wasn't in all that bad of shape to begin with to warrant these aches and pains. This morning was slow moving for my legs...both Achilles were tight and took some time to loosen up and now I have this weird pain on my left ankle and my right tibia has some pain. sigh...
