Justina - I re-checked, spreadsheet had a brain fart. It comes up as 19.7 lbs loss up to the 25th, and 7.62% overall loss (or 8.25 % on a correct calculator) after I fixed it. I think that sounds more like it.

Mands - 444 points, 14.1 lbs lost so far (7.05% (old calculator) or 7.58% on a correct one).

Sorry I've been gone. I was finding it hard to remember my challenge points and to post on time but I really want to try again and keep going with you all. So am I correct in thinking that weight losses/gains are still posted in the score sheet thread but everything else, ie. food logs for this weeks mini-challenge will be posted here, communally? So we are no longer on teams? Sorry for being so shit, Justina. I've just been rubbish at updating my diary, let alone making it over to post, but I would like to try!!

June 1st Food Log:

ham and low-cal spread sandwich
a butt-ton of mexican food.
1/2 a jug of Sangria
1/2 a jug of Pims
1 shot of Tequilia :ack2:

June 2nd Food Log:
Sausage, egg and toast
Weight Watchers meal
Seeds
Pint of cider
Pint of beer

Will go weigh now, as I forgot this morning and will update the scoresheet thread x
 
You are absolutely right Sunflower - no more teams - it is just like we are all in the same team in this thread. :) You still use the same scoresheet.

We are thrilled that we havent lost you from the challenge... :party: I am positive that Justina will feel the same...

I think that we were all a bit quiet and it disheartened San a bit... Not to worry as I picked up the admin.
 
I think all being on this thread is a great idea. And I love this weeks challenge of posting all our food. My dirty secrets will be exposed!! Lost sweet fuck all this week, but I will be an absolute saint this week! We can do it, girls! And guys? Do we have any guys? WHERE ARE THE MEN. MENNNNNN. :willy_nilly:

I'm very sun burnt and deranged today. Will post tomorrow with my food! Excited to see what you all have for dinner. I'm very nosy ;) x
 
Just for clarification - It wasn't the quietness that was the problem at all. I'm not blaming anybody for not posting, or claiming that they are horrible people for having real lives. I had to walk away from the challenge, one way or the other, and seeing the lack of participation and the dropping number of people involved simply made the decision a lot easier.

I'm sure it will work well as a single player challenge for those who are sticking with it, and you'll all do great. :)
 
Maybe the men will come back when they see that the challenge is getting more lively... The are probably several with dirty little secrets that they want to admit and eating and drinking habits that they want to feel guilty about so they kick the habit... We know what we are like!!! :piggy:

This is indeed the thread to go to if you are nosy about food.

People are already seeing which mod on this forum is addicted to butterscotch and the diet equivalent of desserts and sundaes... Yes - Omega really does have that much fruit and yoghurt :blush5:
 
Sunflower - you say that you have no idea how many mini challenge points that you earned last week.

I do not really want to put 0 down if you know that you earned some...

Remember - it was 2 points per day and you could earn them by either doing 30 minutes outdoor exercise as part of your exercise for that day or by doing 20 minutes extra exercise.

Right, well I do 30 mins exercise just going to work. So I got full points for the 30 mins exercise. And I did 1 hour of swimming today so that's my extra for today. And then 2 hours walking yesterday outside of my 30 mins. So full points for 30 mins outdoor activity each day for last week and then extra exercise today and yesterday. Thanks Omega xx
 
Sunflower - That was for the week ended Friday
The exercise mini challenge was for the week from Saturday 25th to Friday 31st.

We have a new mini challenge for this week - logging our food.
 
Then it'll just be monday-friday with the 30 mins exercise each day for that challenge.

Will make sure and post my food each day on here so I don't miss out on any points this week !

LOL Its a good idea to log the food here... We can all earn challenge points on a really bad diet day when we eat badly and do no exercise...
 
Right - I've been looking at the numbers and I think that I know where I am now...

I got a bit confused as to what things should be (between a couple of hiccups and a scaling requirement) so ended up going back to first principles...

Justina....... 35+68+53+62+75+49+56+56+47+38=539....start wt 258.5, current wt 236.4, percent loss= 9.35%
Belinda....... 35+59+49+63+70+65+58+50+39+41=529....start wt 193.1, current wt 184.3, percent loss= 4.77%
Transparent 25+65+49+61+73+75+56+54+54+36=548....start wt 271.4, current wt 269.2, percent loss= 0.82%
Mands........ 25+61+46+31+51+35+44+46+39+43=421....start wt 200.1, current wt 183.8, percent loss= 8.15%
Omega....... 35+70+52+63+77+73+56+56+46+47=575....start wt 153.8, current wt 150.2, percent loss= 2.40%
Sunflower... aa+bb+cc+dd+17+65+62+52+36+41=273 +4 weeks @ 80% of average on those weeks...
............................................................................start wt 209.0, current wt 207.0, percent loss= 0.97%

I'll hold off on calculating the average as we are still getting people say that they are still playing...
We'll give the others a few days to realise that the challenge continues and make up their minds...

If anyone disagrees with these figures please let me know.

Reminder for Margaret next time:
The big thing with using the calculator is to remember to do as San suggested and put the current weight in the "from" box and the start weight in the "to" box. It is a bit counter-intuitive in my opinion...

Hi! I'm back in! I'm glad that you decided on doing it individually. Our team lost steam awhile ago. Good luck to everyone!

Here's my Sat, June 1st meals:
Br: fried egg
hash brown patty

coffee

Lunch: steak sandwich
water

Dinner: hamburger
french fries
green salad with tomato, cheese and bacon
coke

Drinks later:
peppermint tea
water

Saturday nights are usually my "cheat nights" as it's date night with hubby.


Sunday meals:

Br:peanut butter on toast

coffee

Lunch:
cheesy pasta
sausage
green beans
water

Snack:
strawberry Greek yogurt
water

Dinner:
pork chop
mashed potato with margarine
corn
ice tea

Hi everyone! I hope the new version of the challenge goes well for everyone!

I am not going to participate in this one. I came on to drop out of the previous contest. I have gained weight and stopped exercising since hurting my back and I need to ease into things at my own pace. I really appreciate the support of my team and other contest members. I had fun and it helped keep me motivated, but for now I will try to keep up a diary and get myself healthy at my own pace. Thanks again!
 
I'm sorry that we have lost you Quercus - but you have to do what is right for you.

I'm sorry that you have gained weight since hurting your back. I hope that your back gets better soon.
