New to Everything

hello peoples......Thanks for stopping by. Ever since I have met my 10% goal, I have been in a celebration. I have been cheating like crazy. I did not go to curves today. My scale said 199.5 tonight but I think it's trying to cheer me up. Yeah, I sure need to watch it when I'm home, esp. since I don't work summers. Now I won't be able to exercise? ugh. At least I can drink water:D Tomorrow after my pre-op, I WILL go to curves. Wont post food today, since I was in a town yesterday that had krispy kreme. whooo:( -----boy.
 
Shame on you... POST YOUR FOOD. Even if you don't know what the calories are, don't do it in secret! It's fine to eat an unhealthy thing every once in a while, but we start defeating ourselves when we get too embarrassed or overwhelmed to even record what we've eaten. I think you should 'fess up, but you don't have to. It's your diary, I'm just trying to keep everyone open about it. Food is something we talk about since we almost all have issues with it at one time or another.

You don't, of course, have to listen to me, but now you have my two cents. :p
 
Lol, thank you MP, and I happen to appreciate your 2 cents. I just get lazy sometimes as well as not remembering to record in my WW journal. I'm still trying and exercising, I'm just starting to get lazy and not all gung ho as before. Today I go to WW and get weighed in and then hubby and I are going to lunch. I'm thinking about curves before I go anywhere. My scale said 198.5 once this week, but then again, I think its lying. Will post later. Hugs!!!!!!!
 
I can't say that I blame you. I really got tired of posting my food for a while too. But, it did really help, so we should both start doing it again. :D Congratulations on getting into onderland!!! :D
 
Well, Here I am again. I've been MIA for a little bit. I am off for the summer so I have more time to mess up my eating. The first week I gained one lb. This past monday I had surgery and now I can't exercise other than walk for 2 weeks. It's hard to stay with the plan when all you do is sit around the house all day and can't burn. So, that's my story.
 
Find yourself a hobby - learn to knit... arts and crafts? Make necklaces out of macaroni... :D or even regular jewelry - put together puzzles... make paper mache stuff.. Volunteer... make phoney phone calls :D Go thru your spam email and reply to them all telling them what you think of them...

Sitting around the house is brutal... being bored is dangerous... find something fun for you to do...
 
Lol Mal, thanks for stopping by. I currently have a puzzle going (as always, I love them). Today I am laying in the sun and working on my tan. (what tan?????). I'm trying to work on my diet today. I love to crochet. I saw somewhere there is a group here in town who crochet things on their own time and give to charities and rest homes. I need to check into that, thanks for the reminder.

glad to see your feeling okay after surgery, and good job on hanging in there with the diet.

ohh a few years ago there was an infomercial about exercising by just using breathing exercises.
 
I'm wishing you a speedy recovery. I like the crochet & donate idea. I used to love to crochet, but haven't had the time in years. Let me rephrase that, haven't MADE the time in years. I'm on a new kick to use up all my spare moments in activity. You can't do that for a couple of weeks, so I like that deep breathing exercise bit. It won't, of course, count as actual exercise, but the principle behind it (which got distorted for sales purposes) is that deep, thoughtful breathing (realizing that you want to fill your lungs completely and empty them completely, but more than that, it's yoga breathing really) that promotes healing and health. So breathe deep, and start crocheting!
 
Thanks evryone for stopping in. I went to my WW meeting friday and found I had dropped 1.2 lbs, and I was surrrrreeee I had gained. I've actually been kinda busy. My best friend had half her bowel taken out (and has to wear a bag rest of her life), ugh, so I've been there for her as much as possible. It gives me a purpose not to eat. I can't wait untill I get back to curves though.

:D :D Hi Everyone, remember me????? No, I haven't quit with the diet, just been busy. I still am at WW and today I got my 25 lb. star. I went to lunch at applebees to celebrate and got the grilled chicken wrap and ate half, but snuck some fries. Owell. My surgery went ok and I am back to being able to work out. That just sitting around was tough! So, now I'm back and I am making a mental note to TRY to post more...am still thinking about buying one of those women's cruiser bikes. Walking is getting soooooooo tiring. I hope everyone is doing well- I've missed ya's! My ticker is ugly I know, but I'm focusing on the number! I havent been under 200 in ages!:D :D

Yippee! Congrats & welcome back. It's tough to lose weight while recovering & not being allowed to exercise! Nice going! Hope to see more of you around here now that you're back!
 
It's only me......

Hi guys an girls.....Long time and I still see! Yes, I have been MIA but believe me, all of me is still here. I quit WW for the summer because I don't work and earn a paycheck, so I feel guilty spending 12 a week, then 30 a month on curves, so I stayed with curves 'cause I DO need the exercise, and have been just trying to be as good as I can with the food. My ticker has not changed suprisingly, but school starts back in 2 weeks, so I wont be sitting here all day anymore and stopping at fast food joints inbetween trips to the mall. I even took the pedicure out, lol. I've been on sparkpeople some and met some ppl around the town,but they're not as friendly as here. I still haven't bought a bike....that's about it, just wanted to say I haven't forgotten ya'll, I'm just doing other junk. Have a wonderful day, and no, I didn't drink all my water today:p Love ya's!!!!!!!!!!!:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :D
