I just read the fine-print...I can be removed from the "Master Jury List" by claiming I no longer reside in Los Angeles county and showing them a personal utility bill...and since I have a vacation home in Lake Arrowhead, I'm there!!! I thought the address was real until Streamline said something about it being funny. As I was editing it, I finally really read it.
Seriously though, we try to be lax to a certain point. Gas, while not really contributing, hasn't made any insulting comments towards race, gender, religion, sexual preference, etc etc etc.
And I seriously doubt it's a lack of cajones in not banning someone on the net. C'mon...it's the net...who really cares what people think of you on the net. Who really cares what people think of others anyway. Welllll...'cept for Mreik. I always care what he thinks of me. :luxlove:

I've been lurking these forums for 5'ish years and only "contribute" in spurts, when I'm in the mood. For the first couple, I only watched. I guess I should be banned too.
Which is not to say that I approve of any of this drama/childishness, or gas in particular. I do not, at all, but I do believe it's important to defend your and his right to engage in it. While this thread was surely intended for community members to express appreciation and welcome for new mods, and not as an arena in which you might continue your incessant bickering over imagined slights, it does not follow that the suggested topic requires enforcing. I think a good mod ought to share my view in this regard, mostly because I'm fairly sure it is not uncommon among civilized people. Though of course that particular label may not necessarily apply to the denizens of the internet, it's fun to pretend.

1. Kraken I did not send you that email as I do not have your email address. You are wrong to publish another members private details on the open internet without their consent. That email should be deleted from the forum.
2. I don't know why I'm refered to as a "he". Is it only men capable of complaining when women's rights have been violated? Funny enough there was a news item recently and it said "the best woman for the job is a man". hmm
3. [Focus] if you want to know what I was on about, please navigate to the wellness forum and the sexual odors thread and then tell me honestly what you think.
I'm here to contribute but I had to deal with a fallen tree across the road. I don't understand Kraken at all, how does posting the private details of an unrelated member of the forum help?
