Hi Everyone!
Just thought I'd take a moment to formally introduce myself since several posted they aren't sure who I am!
I have been a certified personal trainer since 2002, and work in a small, local gym both personal training, and teaching group fitness classes. I initially got certified to learn more about fitness, the body, and how it all works -- I had never intended to do anything with it. However, now I LOVE working with others to help them reach their goals. I am a sponge - constantly reading, researching, and taking classes/courses to learn more.
I have been a member of the board for YEARS, and come every day (one of the reasons I can be a mod), but mostly just lurk and soak it all up.
Personally.....I live in Northern Virginia, have been married for 15 years, and have two children - an 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter. In addition to being an at-home Mom, and working at the gym, I also am an Independent Longaberger Branch Leader (baskets, pottery, wrought iron, etc) -- thus the name "BasketLady".
Hope that gives you a little insight into who I am! :jump1:

Nice to meet you. I've always seen you online, but never seen you post. You sound like your a great asset to the forum, so don't be afraid to post.

I would disagree. Congrats to the new mods by the way. I was told (by my good friend) that the following members if not already mods would be good choices :-

Kind of funny that 4 of those people you named are the people we think you are.
You and many others obviously lack the cahonas to take up a problem with someone directly to their face. Also very funny that 1 of those members on your list requested my home address. You're perception of how intelligent people are is a reflection upon your own weak intellect.
I know gas is annoying you guys, but try to cool down on the personal insults. He has had warnings (gas) and if he steps out of line the mods and admins will deal with it. Leave it to us
Gas is an obvious troll; spams people's inboxes and is still allowed to post, the Mods have always had a serious lack of balls when it comes to dealing with blatent trolls. Tan anybody?

I havent seen one productive post to assist another on this forum with diet and fitness.

Oh pleez... Why don't we all go into the forums and help newbies and people looking for help? We've welcomed the new Mods, so lets all get moving ....
edit : This talk about people's inboxes being spammed or being asked for home addresses is bogus/not by gas. The mods have the ability to check.
