No, hun, the other challenge is VERY competative and this one is more of a support group......

Ok, heres what happend, I started this challenge and asked if everyone wanted a competative challenge or more of a support group. Before anyone responded, another member started the biggest looser challenge which is VERY COMPETATIVE....so, I thought I'd do the support group thing for anyone who didn't want to be competative.

Isn't that what you all thought?? or did you think it was competative??? If you really want the competative one I will be willling to do that...as suggested I can wait till after the 1st week to see who shows up and who doesn't (good idea btw) OR since I thought we were understanding that it was a support group, we can leave it that way.

Its up to you guys, I don't care.....U know what? I'll put up a poll, that'll work :)



My most sincere apologies I got my threads confused, I meant to subscribe to the other one and somehow did this one, then when I saw your post I thought you were changing challenge. Truly I think everyone is on same page and you were very clear. Newbie mistake. Sorry.
 
So we put our weight loss since Jan. 1st in on Wed. or start with our weigh in on Wed.?! Just wondering. Thanks Eevee
 
i agree with the laid back challenge. like many other people on here, my life is pretty hectic and i stay busy.

im excited bout this challenge. I have aready lost a few lbs tho, so im gonna have to start workin harder an choose another goal. i will choose my goal once i weigh in on thursday :) Good luck to everybody!!! its gonna be exciting to see everyone do this

Hi, I'd like to join this challenge, if it's possible. I wanted to try Bikinibound's challenge as well - are the two compatable?

i have joined the other challenge but have a feeling i will be kicked out very soon so this is much better as i will still have the support

I decided to set my target at 14lb loss 2.3lb per week so will be getting my bum into gear and getting that gym!!!!

I have an official weigh in on a wednesday night so i dont mind re-weighing thursday am (will be lighter YAY)

hey isn't today our official first weigh in day for your starting weight of the challenge?? I'm just wondering... I know that thrusdays are our weigh-in's every week. So i was just wondering.
 
I thought we started the first Thursday of January (so tomorrow), then every Thursday through 2/15. But I might just be confused.
 
hey everybody...weighed this morning and i'm still at 127. I started the day after Christmas and cleaned up my eating and have been doing TurboJam on a daily basis....and my jeans are getting looser..but no weightloss as of yet. All of that exercise has gotten my cycle a little off and I am most likely just retaining fluid (sorry if thats too much info :)

I haven't had any soda (even diet) since Dec 25th--i've been drinking my water. The fridge is stocked with fruit and vegies and healthy protein, cabinets are clean of all junk...full of almonds, smartbalance peanutbutter, canned salmon and tuna and that kinda stuff. Still drinking my morning coffee though with artificial sweetener and my chocolate creamer....but I have to keep that around :) I am starting to feel better too. Hope everyone is enjoying the newYear already :) and good luck...
 
thanks harminy :) as long as your jeans fit, then u at least know you are making some progress. good luck to u too. This is goin to be a good challenge. oh, and btw, my cycle screws up if i start exercising alot after i havent for a while. and good grief, i definetely know what its like retaining water...ugh...

hi, oooh i'm just in time! i only usually post on "weigh myself every day" but i havent done a challenge yet, i love a challenge. l will just post on here on a thursday, starting 2mo! i have two tickers, my *normal* and this one, but ive kept the goal my remainding weight.
