My Secret Strength Garden

Congrats on the 1 binge-free day first of all! :D

I got them from the doctor I went to.. He's a traditional doctor that opts for alternative medicine.. He's 77 and has 50 years of experience.. Beat THAT Clooney! :p

I bet you can get something similar from Solgar.. What it basically is, is a blend of digestive enzymes... Only difference is that it's not heat pressed so the ingredients are intact...

After reading that I'm not sure you can get it over the counter but you should definitely ask. :)

I am not allowed to eat ANYTHING raw! Not veggies, fruit or even dried fruit. It immediately upsets my tummy.. I always cook everything..

I think pasta helps a lot what with absorbing acid and all.. You don't need much. 3 spoonfuls of it should calm you down.. I have it for breakfast :p It counts for less calorie wise.. It gets fully vanished by the time I bed it and you are way less hungry throughout the day.
Also anything with fibre like bread and cereal is bad for me.. Opposite rules apply for IBS peoplish.. White bread is what we can eat. Not brown..

Hope you had a bril weekend B.

My love :)

Sday~

Thanks for all the advice Sday .... I am a bit clueless I must admit. I shall try pasta more often and shall as the pharmasist about the enzymes.

I can't remeber, are you from the US or the UK. I'm just wondering because I know that in the US they seem to have easier access to specialists. I find my GP a bit useless to be honest.

Hope you had a good weekend too.

Toodles ....

:p Neither. I'm in Ireland.. But the doctor I visited is Canadian, as most of the formulas he imported.. I'm sure there is some sort of site that sells them..

I buy most of my in general vitamins and herbal stuff from bodykind.com which you get free of delivery in the UK you lucky thing! :D

I am sure there is a good doctor somewhere near you.. You should look elsewhere if you don't find your current GP of any use.. Look for a specialist!

It really is worth it.. I think ;)

1st day of considering restarting the laxatives.. Ah, I'm such a baby when it comes to stinky pills.. I find it really hard to take them .. Yucky!! Yuck!!:p

I make an official promise as of now, that I'll officially start going to the gym from tomorrow onwards.. :D

Sday~

I was just thinking how active I was when I was little.. I hated PE! Really utterly loathed it. But I loved skipping rope and playing tennis.. and I found a place that sells tennis rackets for 15 euros so I think I'll buy two and drag my partner into it.. Hmm... :D

May I ask something? Is it too early to get grey hair at the age of 25? I keep plugging fully white hair from my fringe.. :(

Sday~

Not at all. You would be surprised how many women (and men) start going grey in their 20s. We just aren't aware because so many people dye their hair. I have dyed my hair brown and blonder in the past just for style, but I would have covered up grey at the same time ;)

You should DEFINITELY do the tennis thing!!!! The best way to exercise is to just have fun ;)

25 isn't too early for it to start popping out. I once knew a beautiful girl who was mostly gray at 28. Doing something you enjoy like tennis is such a good workout.

Hi sday, and congrats on your loss!! You're doing great.

And I started going grey as a teenager. I have to dye my hair every three weeks or so now. Thank goodness for hair care products!!!

The funny thing is that mam was always telling me that if I ever dye my hair it will start turning grey from a very young age... So I never did. Unlike my sister who has done nothing but dying her hair every 2 months since the age of 15. She has no greys.. Ah, complex genes are even more complicated than carbs..

I ate loads of fruit today- A plum, some grape, a full bowl of watermelon, an apple and a nectarine. I said loads for I usually don't have any.. I'll also have some prunes now in the hope I'll go to the toilet after 6 days of not.. :(
The laxatives don't work and I had to use an enema today.. How embarrassing was that to purchase! I had to wear both a Hat and Sunglasses.. How telling is my shyness?? :p

Still 69 kilos.. I know I expect miracles sometimes.. I was a bit down lately.. I suspect the constant weather change.. I think I aimed a bit high when I set as a short term goal a 4 kilo loss in a week and something.. Mainly because I read everywhere people lose up to 4 kilos of fake P weight after their TOM..

I am having a bit of a binge on Sunday.. Nothing massive.. Just a couple of pizza slices and some yogurt (I don't have dairy in my in nutrition usually) MADLY looking forward to it.. It became a little bit of an obsession I try to calm a bit cause it won’t lead to no good in the end.. 3 days to go..

I needed a virtual chat tonight.. It feels better now I wrote my fussy day and thoughts of the aforementioned down..

Tomorrow I am finishing 31 days, a month of my new life change. Feels kinda good.. :D ;)

Sday~

Hey Sday. Don't forget that if you haven't opened your bowels for 6 days, you are going to be harbouring a lot of extra weight because of it. If things do start shifting (I've got my fingers crossed for you, hun) then that weight should start coming down quite quickly ;)

I am feeling very acidic again this evening. I was doing okay, then I had rice cakes with extra light cream cheese and lots of tomato ...... what was I thinking !?!?! Afterwards, I can't believe that I thought I would have any other result

Be careful having a treat that you look forward to too much. I used to always give myself Saturdays off, but I found that I was not breaking my binging behaviour. And I still find it difficult not to see Saturday as a get out of jail free card. But I suppose if you only do it now and then, and not religiously every weekend, then you should be okay.

Congrats on a whole month of your new life ..... you are doing fab!!! :)

Mrs Bear is right....once you get that on track you should see a weight loss. The fruit should help, and keep drinking loads of water. You'll be fine.

Hope you have a great weekend!!!

Ahh...gray hair's no big deal! I've got plenty and I'm only 33...I tease my students when they point them out, I say 'That one's from you, and this one's from you etc...'

I'm just thankful that there's no hair growing out of my ears or anything--I have a friend who actually has to shave her face because she could grow a beard. So I don't see gray hairs as too bad compared to that :)

Coming with only bad news.. The binge Sunday was an awful idea and something I'll never do again.. First of all it ended up starting on Thursday and finishing yesterday.. I did a week of only bad food!!

I gave me the stick enough yesterday though.. I thought.. It was only one week.. I won't weigh myself for a couple of weeks so the water weight will go along with the most likely kilo or 2.. I chose to not want to know, for it will only upset me and set me miles backwards..

What's done is done.. It's so hard.. It feels like you're starting all over again.. Don't know how you manage only Saturday Mrs Bear.. I couldn't stop!

DEEP BREATH.. Putting all this in a box and stepping away.. :)

Hope all is doing well and keeping on track! ;)

Sday~

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad week Sday :( Once you start it is soooo difficult to stop. For me, it just makes me feel so sick and headachy, that it stops me doing it the next day. Mind you that is now .... it hasn't always worked that way hence my yo-yoing over the years. But you are right to put it in a box and walk away. What's done is done ..... now its onwards and upwards to better things. Plus a great idea to not get on the scales. Like you said, it will be distorted and its no good depressing yourself. Just work really hard for a couple of weeks and it will all be behind you. Also, doesn't it just remind you why you started this journey in the first place.

PS I think it is best not to 'plan' binges as you end up looking forward to them and it builds up the wrong mindset. Much better to accept that they might happen from time to time, but wait for the mood to take you.

Good luck getting back on track, I know you can do it ;)
