My low carb progress

Its been about 5 days since i started low carbs. My results arent that good, so far:

BF%: Down 1.3%
Muscle Mass: Down 0.8%
Weight loss: 3lb lost

These results will alter though, as i weighed in after school at 3:30pm, when i usually do in the morning.
I need to eat more, but the 20g of carbs a day rule is really hard to stick to, ive probably only had 20 carbs about 2 out of the 6 days because its so difficult.
The muscle loss is worrying, but i cant eat much because everything has carbs in it (except meat and eggs, and Whey protein shake) so i dont have much choice.
Any suggestions on my diet so i get more calories? I currently have 1000-1500 maximum, soley because i dont want to overstep the carb limits.

On the plus side ive finally seen some good progress. But im going to start adding cardio to this diet, the reason i havnt so far is because i felt really weak when starting low carbs, i was told this is normal and it is going now.

Give me a good reason why I should offer any advice to you?

I have spent a lot of time communicating with you, and here you are eating 1000 calories a day. Totally disregarding one of the take home points that I have stated to you numerous times.... that starving yourself is not the answer.

Your muscle mass has gone down. Gee, I wonder why?

But im not doing it on purpose. I just dont see how you can eat like 2000 calories without crossing the 20g carb limit of Atkins.
Its not that im just ignoring your advice, im just finding it hard to follow while having low carbs. Its just meal plan advice i need, some help on how to increase my calories while staying on 20g of carbs.

but, eazye, the entire reason why that the low carb diet shows results is that you are dramatically reducing your calories... if you up your calories a lot - you will not see the same results

If you want more cals, look to fats and protein. There are other macronutrients ya know.

A protein shake. It's 130 calories and has 20 grams of protein. I use the GNC Chocolate flavored protein powder---it's yummy.

Info from a blog I use to write carb deficiency is dangerous

What we want to do is normalize your your system so that it is not storing food but burning the food as we eat it. Now in order to do this there must be a calorie deficiency base on energy expenditure not calorie restriction alone or eliminating all crabs. Lets quickly talk about cab deficiency which is no where near safe weight lose. Why do you loose weight when you deplete you body of crabs? Well if you loose 100 pounds through this method close to 90 of these pounds were nothing but water. Your body has to maintain a chemical balance in all of its systems. No crabs = no glucose in the blood, no glucose your body must shed inter cellular water because there must be a 3:1 ratio of water to glucose. For every molecule of glucose there must be three molecules of water to maintain chemical balance. So if you get rid of the glucose then your body must shed water also. How much water weight can you loose? Well your body is more then 70% water you tell me how much can you loose. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NEVER BE A PART OF A SAFE WEIGHT LOSE PLAN!!!! When you dehydrate the cells they become brittle and just like a piece of dried steak easy to tear. So in your body you create microscopic tears in all of your muscle fibers. (Heart, lungs, liver .... and so on) The long term effects are already being seen in the health of the nation hook on carbless diets.

90% of the weight you lose while on a low carb diet is water. The fat loss your seeing is because of extreme calorie deficiency. But that wont last long. As your metabolism slows down because of muscle loss your body fat % will table of and you will become what we call fat skinny. This may work if you goal is to look good in cloths for a short period of time but once you start to take in more carbs your body will start to retain water and carbs at at higher ratio. Normally its 3 to 1 (water to carbs) but after atkins its typically 6-9 to 1.

So you'll be rataining more carbs because your body does not know when it will run in to another famine (remember your body is prehistoric and kowns nothing about buying food). So to survive and prevent future starvation its gonna load your cells with carbs and that means it will also retain more water.

Good luck on this potentially dangerous journey of yours if you only knew you are turning your body in to a piece of dri brittle beef jerky with millions of little miro tears in all of your muscle cells (bidggest concern is flat muscle, which is organ tissue, you know like your heart!)

Wow, I don't even know what to say to these last two posts. Other than, I hope you are not a fitness professional, or worst yet, a nutritionist/dietetic.
