Hi everyone,

I'm here because I want to be accountable in a written way, and I'll try to do it here.
It's my first time, so I'll see if it works for me!

I gained at least 10kg these 6 last months because I binge eat a lot. I don't eat unhealthily but I love bread, pasta, pizza, cheese, butter and chocolate... And when I begin I have a very hard time stopping...

I read "Bright Line Eating" and I found I'm a 10 on the susceptibility scale.
I'll try to respect the guidelines of this program "no flour, no added sugar". I'm gonna do my best ! And I hope I won't binge too much...

I already binged today by eating 5 madeleine, 2 "pain au lait" (milk bread ?) and lots of chocolate...

I love sport and I try to have a weight training / HIIT / kickboxing / yoga session everyday.
I also am on an intermittent fasting diet : I don't eat breakfast because I'm not hungry in the morning.

LET'S DO IT!! :)
(and thank you for this forum)

Morning : light weight training session + stretch
Lunch : oatmeal with almond milk, banana and raspberries
Dinner : Green beans, curry veggie burger, half a baguette with butter and a small portion of cheese
And then... I couldn't stop eating while watching a show... : 1 pain au lait, 1 madeleine, 2 packs of 5 crackers each, 1 egg and I think half a bar of chocolate 70% (maybe 100g?)
I take a long time feeling full, I should try to eat more slowly maybe.
Let's see tomorrow, cheer up!

Thank you for welcoming me Cate ^^

I'm trying intuitive eating, it's not easy, I just bought "When food is comfort" and I'll read it little by little. I wish to be an intuitive eater and not binge everytime.

Morning : yoga + 10min meditation
Food :
- raspberries
- 2 dried laver
- 3 eggs cheese omelet with 2 zucchinis
- small portion of cheese (camembert) and bread with butter
- 1 yogurt with stevia
- 2 packs of 5 crackers each with maybe 70g of 70% chocolate

Comfort eating sure isn't, but it's a hard habit to get out of. I try to concentrate on getting the right nutrition & make sure that I eat enough healthy food. Your food above looked pretty good. Is that all you had for the day Dubu?

Yes, it's quite difficult.
Last year, I succeedeed in a long period without binge eating with "The Mindfulness-Based Eating Solution" but my bad habit came back. We have to stand up right away but it's not easy to do. Numbing my feelings with food is easier than trying to listen to my body's signals.

I'm actually trying to do the same as you, I know I talked about removing flour and sugar in my first post, but I changed my mind, I'd just want to eat less flour and sugar, not removing it altogether.

Yes it was all my food for yesterday. I have an odd routine, I don't eat breakfast because I'm not hungry and I wake up really late.
I usually either have 2 meals or 1 snack and 1 BIG meal.
These days I often eat 1 snack and 1 big meal, but I can't stop even when I'm quite full, I have to work on that.

Morning : 30min Cardio session + 10min meditation
Food :
- 1 apple
- 1 portion dried seaweed
- 1 zucchini + 1/2 bell pepper + 3 eggs cheese omelet + white rice
- small portion of cheese with a portion of bread
- 2 packs of 5 crakers with maybe 100g 70% chocolate
- 1 yogurt with stevia

Morning : 10min meditation + 35min session of upper body strengh training
Food :
- fruit salad composed of banana and strawberries
- 1 banana with cinnamon
- 1 portion of dried seaweed
- 2 eggs cheese omelet + 1/4 bell pepper + green beans
- 1 small portion of camembert cheese
- lot of bread with 5 square of 70% chocolate
- 1 yogurt with stevia

Sensations : these past nights, my stomach was really too full. Tonight I tried to wait a bit before eating my "dessert and bread" and I ate a bit less, I'm still this sensation of too-much fullness, but not too awful.
I'll try to wait again tomorrow before attacking my dessert !

Morning : 10min meditation + 45min lower body strengh training
Food :
- 1 apple with cinnamon
- 1 portion of dried seawed
- 3 portions of camembert cheese
- 3 portion of bread (baguette)
- 2 eggs cheese omelet + 1/4 bell pepper + green beans
- 1 yogurt with stevia
- 3 crepes
- 2 mini pound cakes
- 1 pack of 5 crakers
- 8 squares of 70% chocolate

Sensations : I feel a bit too-full but I really wanted carbs tonight, so crepes, bread, pound cakes, crakers...

Morning : 10min meditation + 20min cardio
Food :
- oatmeal with almond milk, 1 big banana and strawberries
- 100g applesauce
- 1 yogurt with stevia
- 2 big portions of pizza and some salad

Didn't eat a lot because I had a long day and came back really late.

Morning : 10min meditation + 10min ligth lower body movements
Food :
- 1 apple
- 3 big portions of bread with camembert cheese
- 2 eggs cheese omelet with tomatoes and zucchini
- 3 squares of 70% chocolate
- 1 yogurt with stevia
- 1 banana

Looks like you're having some great consistency! All the best!
Thank you for your encouragements Ellabella ^^ For the moment it's OK, I hope I will continue like this!

Morning : 25min light kickboxing + 10min meditation
Food :
- 2 applesauces
- 1 onigiri
- 2 eggs cheese omelet + zucchini + tomatoes + rice
- 1 portion of camembert cheese
- lot of baguette with butter...
- 4 squares of 70% chocolate
- 1 yogurt with stevia

Thoughts : I ate too much baguette again, but I love it so much, I was already full after my dinner, I should have taken just a small bite. I'd try to slow down more next time.

Morning : 10 min meditation + 50min lower body strengh training
Food :
- 1 apple with cinnamon
- 2 dried seaweed
- 3 slices of whole wheat bread + camembert cheese and butter
- eggs cheese omelet + zucchinis + pasta
- 1 fromage blanc (Greek yogurt) with stevia
- 3 squares of 70% chocolate
- 1 pack of 5 crakers
- 1 banana

I love your honesty and clarity!! It seems we have similar eating patterns.. :D
Yeah, carbs are life *-* hehe just have to eat them moderately... xD

Morning : Quick slow yoga session + 10 mins meditation
Food :
- 1 apple with cinnamon
- 3 slices of whole wheat bread with camembert cheese and butter
- 2 eggs cheese omelet with bell pepper, zucchini and white rice
- 1 fromage blanc with stevia
- 1 square of 70% chocolate
- 1 banana

Thoughts : I felt very good tonight and didn't overeat (I still felt full but not overly much as I usually do). It made me feel really good and proud to take care of my tummy like that. I don't know if it's because I ate whole wheat bread instead of baguette ? (since I didn't have my favorite at home)
But I'll try to continue this way.

Books I'm reading these days :
- Body Kindness
- When food is comfort
I'm trying to read at least a chapter of one or the other each day

You seem very consistent, but you look to be way under eating protein ? this is not good for your health or your weight loss in the long term due to muscle loss etc.

You're doing very well :)
Thank you Cate ^^

Thank you for you comment :)
For the moment, I'm only trying to honor my hunger by eating when I'm hungry and stopping when I'm no longer hungry (very difficult), as well as stopping my binge and overeating crisis... And trying to eat mostly "healthy".
Last year I was really toned and I loved my body and my muscles, but I was obsessed with protein (for instance I only ate egg whites omelet, no yolk and I incorporated protein powder everywhere...), counting calories and macronutrients and craving food I "shouldn't" eat.
So I just want to have a "normal" life without obsessing about food. When I will have more control, I hope to have a more balanced diet as well.
I'm a vegetarian btw.

Morning: 10min meditation + 30min upper body strengh training
Food:
- 3 chocolate / strawberry candies
- 1 apple with cinnamon
- 2 Mikado Biscuit Stick XXL
- 2 onigiris
- 2 eggs omelet with zucchini, yellow bell pepper and white rice
- 2 slices of whole wheat bread with butter and camembert cheese
- 1 fromage blanc with stevia
- 1 banana

I'm happy because even if I was a bit too full tonight, I wanted to ate again a madeleine or a pound cake, but I told myself that I could always eat it tomorrow. Not worth it to upset my tummy and have trouble falling asleep.

That is a really good idea & you are doing well. Adding in a small number of nuts might be a good idea Dubu if you can control how many. Raw almonds are good & not so tempting to overeat I find. Well done on not eating the cake :)

I'll take that into consideration, as you said I don't overeat almonds because I don't really like them alone, but I find them delicious in oatmeal or with a fruit/chocolate :)

Yesterday
Morning : 10min meditation + 15min cardio session
Food :
- 1 chocolate / strawberry candy
- 1 apple with cinnamon
- 2 onigiris
Ate at a friend's buffet so I don't know how much I ate of :
- cherry tomatoes with emmental cheese
- codfish acras (fritters ?) with salad
- some chips
- 1 ice cream Xtrem Nestlé red fruits (really too much sugar, not to my taste, but I always finish my meals with something sweet and they didn't have anything else)
